If that's all they are offering, Danny needs to jump in, we know George is open to playing here

Offer Smart, Jae, bos 18 and clips pick

Or trade down with sac for 5 and 10 and offer one of those picks

George is open to playing here?

Everything I've read is L.A. or bust.

Woj and Stein both reported (among others) that Paul's agent is telling teams he's going to LA no matter what. But if you wanna trust a blank tweet reply that was quickly tweeted, than hey...

Of course they're saying that, because he wants to go there right now. He might truly believe it right now, too.

But pretty much everyone, including Woj, believes that if he was traded to Boston or Cleveland it'd be really difficult for him to leave for LA afterwards. That's why LA is offering anything at all right now, because they're afraid of that very thing happening.

Granted, I'm still not sure how much I'd risk in a trade for him.

Indiana will take it. Paul george is in the drivers seat and makes the calls, not indiana. No team wants to rent PG. I guarantee that LA is the best offer out of  all teams offers

What a garbage offer. There has to be a few teams out there willing to gamble on George and willing to offer something better than that. Yuck.

Heck, I would think there were teams willing to offer more knowing for sure it was just a 1 year rental. Like, what else is Orlando doing right now?

Yes Sacramento is willing to do that according to about 50 people on this blog. Why would a rebuilding team trade 2 lottery picks for one that is two picks ahead of their first one??? Where do you all come up with this?

I've seen 27,28 and the choice between randle and clarkson.

Not too different but worth noting.

Either way, as Roy wrote, plenty of teams should be able to beat that even just for a rental.

I mean a team like us cleveland or Portland could bring him in and make a nice run. I can't imagine George would make the finals (here or cle) and then bounce out to the Lakers.

I knew Magic was not messing around .   He ll,be at cap in a year .  ....

Magic wants to win now ...not latter.......thats always been the Laker way .......Mitch bit the dust thinking too slow .

Yeah I really don't get it from sacs perspective.

If you move from 3-->5 you could maybe get someone like papgianis thrown in but certainly not pick 10.

It *literally* is not. It's been widely reported that the Cavs are putting Love on the table for George, but Indy has so far resisted without a third team. But Love is clearly a better offer than that LA offer, and I guarantee several other teams have already put in better offers than that LA poo poo platter.
