this year #3, the 2018/2019 pick just received and a player
for a year of Paul George.  Wow.

I will not give the #3, the Lakers nor the Brooklyn pick for Paul George.

We don't know if he's going to be a rental or not, and we should not be giving up our best assets, as Indiana has very little leverage.

We just gotta have to put a competitive offer than what they're getting.

Crowder, Yabu maybe, Rozier/Jackson, #37, 2018 Boston pick. I'll start with that.

I'll give up two first-round non BKN picks, Jae Crowder and Tyler Zeller for one year of Paul George.

I am not letting Indy touch the BKN picks.
So you would give the 2018 LA pick???

Nope, but MEM and/or LAC picks

It's been so easy these past couple of years simply referring to the high draft picks as the BKN picks. Now, we need to qualify all of our untradable picks as BKN picks, LAL 2018 2-5 pick (or PHI/Sac 2019 pick). It makes it so much more difficult.

Anyway, I would do a deal with the Clips pick or Mem pick, Zeller, and Crowder. I realize that we could then not sign Hayward so we would need to move AB for a future pick to sign him...however, because order is important, we would need to sign Hayward first before making the trade official.

Yeah thats close to what I said on an other thread.

The only reason PG13 wants to go to LA is either Lebron and Westbrook are going next year, or he's dumb.

But this could make him a lot cheaper than he was going to be. And he's said the think about IT, and the other thing about how good Boston played together, and there was a weird one about him wanting to play with Hayward(not sure how true that one was), then the PP retweet.

Could PG13 be doing DA a solid and making himself dirt cheap so DA doesn't' have to lose a crap ton of assets by giving out LA rumors..... :P

I don't know, Bol Bol is currently slotted as a mid first in 2019.

I like PG13 a lot.

And once he plays in Boston...he will love it!

Hey maybe if the Celtics stun the Cavaliers then they can convince PG13 about the Celtics' culture and he'll sign an extension with us! We'd have the highway robbery out of it PLUS saving our BKN pick and LA/SAC/PHI pick  ;D

Here is a weird scenario: Larry Bird calls Ainge and says that they are about to trade PG13 to the Lakers for peanuts, but they really like the 3rd pick (or something else valuable).  They'll trade PG13 to the Cavs, then we'd get Love and the Pacers would get our stuff.  If we don't do it, then LA's pick next year becomes way less valuable.

If the Lakers get PG13 this year, then 1/2 of our upside on this LAL'18 pick is out the door.  Then, if Sacto gets the #1 pick in 2019, that pick becomes way less valuable.  The C's should consider topping any Lakers deal just to keep that pick valuable.

I don't get how Indy has any leverage at all. Hasntl PG already stated he's not resigning with them?

They don't, but they will try to squeeze every single value they can get, which is why they are playing hardball.
