Toronto and Phoenix? Wow, I guess that statement really means nothing then.

Maybe he means fanbase wise? Toronto has great fans...And I mean if you buy tickets to Knicks and suns games you must be great fans to endure that

That's kind of weird right? Like everyone assumes he is this LA or die kind of guy, and he doesn't put them on Rushmore?

  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
Toronto had the city square watching the playoffs. I see it. PHX the one time I went i was impressed. I know I am fan of celtics but we do rock the house.

If CP3 goes to the Spurs it seems likely that Blake will jump ship also.

Problem is CP3 is looking at 5 years 205 million to stay in LA as to taking a much smaller package with less years to go to San Antonio or elsewhere. It's a smokescreen. He is staying in LA where his new house is and his entourage and commercials. He is staying 99%.

He is probably also hoping he can bring in Melo this year and LeBron next year. Blake may be jumping ship anyway but I don't see CP3 moving at all.

Phoenix is a desirable place to live. Booker looks like a burgeoning star and Chriss/Bender are interesting at the least.
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

That doesn't mean it belongs on a "Mt. Rushmore of NBA cities".  Washington, Jefferson, Teddy, and Lincoln aren't on the real Mt. Rushmore for being "desirable" or looking like they could be something in the future, they're there because of what they've done.

Boston, LA, and Chicago should not be left off of any "Mt. Rushmore of NBA cities".  The last slot you can play around with (ie. Philly, NY, SA, etc.)
I'm bitter.

I hear that if you play for Virtus Roma the ownership gets you a  flat with a view on the Colloseum and free tickets to the Vatican museums.

When asked jokingly whether only “half” of him likes Boston –– Griffin is 50 percent black –– he briefly touched on the city’s racial history. “Half of me loves it,” he said. “The other half is hit-and-miss. It depends on who I run into. It depends on what story I’m reading about people being heckled at a Red Sox game.” – via WEEI.com

He played with Pierce the past few seasons. Its hard not to have Pierce's love of Boston rub off on him.

The Nets trade, the gift that keeps on giving!

God, I'm so sick of this narrative that the sports media continues to push regarding race and Boston. Wasn't Boston one of the first teams to employ and use African-Americans regularly throughout the organization??
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Its hilarious, if I'm not mistaken this is a philly radio show. Didn't they have a white football player shouting out the N word at black people?

Guess the whole city must be racist....
