Jay King: Don’t freak out, but, on @PardonMyTake, Blake Griffin put Boston on his Mt. Rushmore of NBA cities alongside Toronto, Phoenix and NY – via Twitter ByJayKing
Toronto and Phoenix? Wow, I guess that statement really means nothing then.
Phoenix is a desirable place to live. Booker looks like a burgeoning star and Chriss/Bender are interesting at the least.
That doesn't mean it belongs on a "Mt. Rushmore of NBA cities". Washington, Jefferson, Teddy, and Lincoln aren't on the real Mt. Rushmore for being "desirable" or looking like they could be something in the future, they're there because of what they've done.
Boston, LA, and Chicago should not be left off of any "Mt. Rushmore of NBA cities". The last slot you can play around with (ie. Philly, NY, SA, etc.)
