This is the third year in a row everyone knew what the Celtic's were doing.

Three years ago we heard they loved Smart and than they drafted Smart. Looking back that may have been the pick because of a VERY weak draft class. Not to go deep in to it but it's clear now that Smart does not have the talent you want out of a lottery pick. But he is a hustle guy!

Last year you heard they were going to take Brown with the third pick even though nobody else had him that high. Looked like a smoke screen but sure as **** they drafted Brown (whom I like now but originally didn't like the pick).

This year we heard they were going to trade down with Philly and to the shock of us they did!

Now we are hearing they love Jackson. Another hustle guy that can't shoot, anyway I can go on a rant of all the things I don't like about Jackson but that's not the point here. Now maybe the league has figured out what most of us already know. Danny loves hustle guys that have little offensive game, but just as easy could be another leak. The point is get ready for Jackson folks!

Most of the time when you hear this type of stuff it's misdirection. You would never hear this from the Patriots, never! I think it's time the Celtic's deal with this issue, their front office needs some house cleaning IMO.

Anyway I'm bracing myself for the worse aka Jackson.

Not the way I recall it at all. Dunn was mentioned but Brown's name kept coming up and it got louder and louder. We were having arguments on the board similar to now about not taking taking him at #3.

So he can't hit the easiest shot in the game? That leads you to believe he can shoot? I'm going by what I have read on many sites but they could all be wrong.

Kansas is my old mans favorite team. They are the only team I watched in tournament because I was with him. He kept talking up Jackson and every game I left unimpressed and said he's not even the best player on the team Fox is. Fox is fast and got by people with ease and put the ball in the basket. Eventually the old man had to admit Fox was better. Now I know that doesn't translate to the NBA so it's anyone's guess from here.

Jackson shot 90 threes last year. If you think he's even a competent shooter due to his percentages on 90 attempts, you're insane.

Insane is a little harsh. Everybody talks about Tatum's incredible shooting, yet Jackson shot the 3 better than him. I get it, Tatum's offensive game is a little more dynamic, especially from mid-range, but in a full college season the better 'shooter' shot worse than this supposed horrible shooter (who also offers a lot more potential, defense, and explosiveness).

I think the leaks were from Philly's side. Reportedly the media knew that it was a done deal before the Celtics did.

In terms of what that means, it suggests that Philly took an offer from the Celtics, rather than Danny accepting a proposal from Philly's side.
