I would think to be a successful GM, you would need to have some very thick skin.  Phil certainly does not.  To consider trading Porzingis because he skipped an exit meeting and has criticized the triangle is so silly.  I hope we get a chance to benefit from it.  Porzingis would fill a need and is still just twenty one.

So it's #3, Jaylen Brown, and Terry Rozier for the unicorn. Who's in ?

I'd really hate to see Jaylen go, but I'd live with that.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Crowder has to be in the deal to get enough room for Hayward

Knicks say nope.

3rd, Philly Pick,  Jaylen,  Smart or Crowder  maybe gets KP.

Can't see ain't parting with Jaylen. And I'm glad.

I'd rather keep the combo of Brown and Tatum over the Zinger.

Zinger is still a potential guy, just like Brown and Tatum. All 3 could be all stars. All 3 could fall short. We'll get our rock star future big in the next draft or two, where there are lots of bigs.

Too much.

Two #3's and a backup PG with talent for a uniquely skilled big who is still more hype.

The salary slot of the 3rd pick is bigger than zingers salary so I don't think we'd actually need to shed any more contracts.

If he can just stay healthy, Embiid is the perfect franchise player.  As for them actually getting Porzingis, I don't think he's a good fit with Embiid and Simmons.

As an aside, the Sixers have apparently sold the most season tickets so far of any team and are on track to sell out all their home games.  So much for the nonsense of their multi-year tank driving away a generation of fans.

Marquese Chriss & Dragan Bender have come up in some iterations of the Knicks' talks with Phoenix about a trade for Porzingis, per sources:

I really can't overstate how excited I would be if the Celts got Porzingis.

You must be a Knicks fan.

18 pts 7 reb 2 blk, 1.9 3PM on 54.6% TS at age 21, and he's 7'3'' tall.

He's really good and gonna get better.

Yes, that's why the Knicks are trading him.

Uh, they're trading him cause they're the Knicks.
