Sources: BOS offered NYK its No. 3 pick, a player & an additional lottery pick that they think they can acquire tonight in a trade for KP.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

The player has to be Crowder. How are they going to get another lottery pick this year?

They can acquire how? If BKN 18 is involved, I'm out.

Even if we are just packaging a player like AB and a future 1st for this lottery pick, the trade will end up being #1 plus two players for KP. (On the assumption the PHI/LAL pick is what gets back this lottery pick).

Seems like a lot to give up. But maybe Danny really likes KP.

Avery to Wolves for 7 makes a ton of sense.

Minnesota pick.

If the Celtics some how land Pozingis, going after pg-13 would put this team right into contention ...

Now the offer would have to be something like Bradley plus the Memphis pick...
Plus is this team looked like it could win it all George could have a change of heart and rather play for a winning culture...

Don't see how we'd still have enough to go after PG after a Porzingis trade.

I would like to keep that Minny pick and draft Isaac or Dennis Smith jr.

who does phil jackson think he is?

#3 ($5.6M), #7 (rumored, let's say for future pick(s)), Crowder ($6.8M), Rozier ($1.9M)
<=>
Porzingis

We save somewhere around $10M in cap room. Maybe enough bring over both our euros, use the #37 pick, keep DJax, sign Hayward, and have a little left over for wiggle room.

IT/ Bradley/ Hayward/ Porzingis/ Horford
Smart/ Brown/ Theis/ Yabusele/ Ziziz/ DJax/ #37/ $5M- $10M free agent

Maybe move Bradley closer to the deadline, and/or hold out for a Butler deal involving him.

Can we acknowledge the fact that Phil Jackson is asking for Jae Crowder coldly because he almost got Crowder as a throw-in to the Tyson Chandler trade and claimed years later to "have had a feeling" that Crowder would be good. This man wants a player solely to maintain his self-proclaimed clairvoyance. That's something I'd do in my fantasy football league.

In short, I'm so happy that Danny is our GM.
