Porzingis stinks

That is why the Knicks are trading him.

#3
Crowder (apparently they like him and, oh, yea he sucks)

Then 2 of 3, some combination of...

Rozier
Memphis 1st
Clippers 1st

HAVE to keep Bklyn, LA/SAC picks.

That would be an incredibly stupid trade.

What if it just takes #3 and Brown to get unicorn?

What if 3 and smart gets it done?

Or is this where ainge refuses smart and jaylen but offers 3, crowder, rozier, Memphis pick and try to give them the pick up platter rather than what they really want.

Generally speaking they asked for a the top-5 pick and a young player on a star track.

All well and good, but he's not getting that haul for Zinger.  You can even argue he's not necessarily on a "star track."  He's not helping the cause by openly trashing him to the media, either -- what leverage does he have here?  Seems the whole team dislikes him.

I really can't overstate how excited I would be if the Celts got Porzingis.

Here's the ultimate question: would you be as excited in this scenario as you were disappointed and frustrated when Danny traded down?  ;)

More so, but I kinda doubt that the trade is more likely to happen with the #3 pick than it would be if the Celts still had the #1.

Yeah, I think I'd be willing to overpay for Zinger with the assumption that Davis isn't becoming available via trade anytime soon.  He's a great all-around fit for now and the future.

Mem and Clips are heavily protected

2019 Mem = 9+
2019 LAC = 15+

If it means we keep Bklyn and LA/SAC, i'd do it.  He ain't gonna be cheap

18 pts 7 reb 2 blk, 1.9 3PM on 54.6% TS at age 21, and he's 7'3'' tall.

He's really good and gonna get better.
