I agree with those that say fultz  has flashes of pierces moves (like those hesitation shots or change of speed/direction). It's hard to find those pierce moves in players especially so young

my concern is he did not elevate his team... Now most will say hes only one player but if he is is as good as advertised then they should have at least of been a tournament team...

What did all those College wins do for James Young?

In other words why does College matter? The pro game is different, there is more room to operate, you are not playing with some guy who is on his way to his part time burger gig after the game..

Wins and losses in College means absolutely nothing at the next level.. IF you won a chip you were probably playing on a squad that had 6 or 7 other pro players on the roster..

Ok find me a couple elite NBA players who lost a ton of college games..? Serious question. Do they exist?

After you find me 1 Guard drafted number 1 and ended up as a bust..  You can go back to any year.

I think the last 4 are Kyrie, Wall, Rose and Magic off the top of my head. Not too bad a company to be in. Two MVP's, two guys who are champions and all have/had been considered up near the top of their position during their prime.

Not bad company to keep at all!

Allen Iverson is in that group.

I'll wager those other guards won more than 9 of the college games they played in.

Kyrie only won 10...

Of course he did only play 11 games.

I don't think it's overrated at all though.

This is a 19 year old kid who's offensive game is already polished. His feel for the game is excellent, and he has the the skills that would translate in the NBA very well.

He's got the athleticism.

He's got the measurables.

Sure, there maybe some intangible concerns but we are looking at a 19 year old kid who could easily start for at least 10 NBA teams and not have to worry about his shooting, his athleticism or if he will be able to do what he does vs NBA men.

The hype is warranted. This kid is special.

Yeah, this is the same description Dante Exum had during the draft. Look what happened.

What?

Exam was a total mystery. I really disagree with this comparison.

He had the tools and measurables, quick first step and was touted for "creating offense". Anyone who denies it is a revisionist.

Listed strengths by DraftExpress:

- Size for position (Hey, sounds like Fultz)
- Creating offense (Again, sounds like Fultz)
- Basketball IQ (Again!)
- Defensive Potential (Just like Fultz)

I remember people here on CB getting mad on Brad and Danny for not tanking enough to get him. And this is why I take opinions with any fascinations of prospects who happens to curse our GM if they don't get what they want with a grain of salt.
