Only way I see us giving up Fultz is because we are getting one of PG13 or Butler and hopefully Hayward is coming.
Lets look at series of events:
-Jackson cancelled his workout with the Celtics
-Ball refused to work out of us.
-Chicago and Indiana are both primed for rebuilds.
Both Butler and PG13 are in their primes. We have IT and Horford in their primes. And we have Hayward on ice approaching his prime.
We didn't see Jackson or Ball for workouts, so we probably aren't taking either of them.
My personal assumption is that if we are trading away the #1 pick it means we are getting Paul George or Jimmy Butler and we are sending the #3 pick to Chicago or Indiana.
We get a haul from Philly of future picks and maybe Okafor.
Chicago gets #3 (or Indiana)
We get a star player with lots of future picks.
I don't think I'm alone when I say I'd certainly prefer Butler or PG13 over any of those guys at #2,3 or 4.
Unfortunately if we are getting both Hayward and one of PG/Butler, then we are going to see Bradley, Amir, Zeller, Jerebko all go out.
I'd say we keep Crowder as our Iggy guy off bench considering his contract, and Brown stays on bench.
Seems like an Ainge kind of move for me if he's not taking the BPA.
