So what would you want from the 76ers for an expiring Avery Bradley?
Let's be serious too. Embid, Simmoms and the #3 pick are off the table here.
What would it take?

Sources: Philadelphia searching for defensive-minded guards to play with Ben Simmons. One target: Boston's Avery Bradley. No traction.

No problem mate but this is pretty old news. I posted the link just because another poster asked for one legit report that the Sixers are interested in Bradley.

Bradley should really spend his entire career in Boston, and he deserves way better than Philly. Sending our 3rd best player and 2nd best guard out for some chump in Philly is a good way to not get back to the ECF next year.

Not the death sentence it was 2 years ago. Philly is going to be good...soon.
I think if Embiid/Simmons stay healthy and you add Bradley Philly might be a playoff team.

I agree. I don't think people realize how good the Sixers were with Embiid on the court last year.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

If Danny wanted Noel he would have traded for him at the deadline.

Horford can no longer defend the perimeter. If we acquire Noel, either him or Horford will have to play out of position. Not to mention that Noel is gonna get paid some serious money this off season.

If they were worried about playing Saric and Simmons together, I would love to swap Bradley and Saric straight up.

The ideal offseason might be: draft Fultz, swap Bradley for Saric, sign Hayward, bring in Zizic.

I hope Danny wouldn't trade Bradley for a 1/2 season rental of Noel (and we'd end up paying up $20 million in the summer).

But someone recently said Philadelphia was not dealing Noel to Boston. Looking at what actually netted him, Rozier + a future 1st or our early 2nd this year should've done it, but I don't think Philadelphia wanted to sell low on Noel AND have to see him playing in the same division 4 times a year for the next 4-5 yrs at least.

Who says the #3 pick is off the table? Not saying straight up but Philly has a ton of young guys so they could realistically trade #3 for Bradley +

Bradley + Memphis Pick + 2018 Nets Pick + 2018 Celtics Pick FOR Ben Simmons.  Would love to see that guy in Green.

Way too much. The 2018 Nets pick is not on the table. They can have something else. Maybe the Clippers pick or one of our non-top 7 guys.

Bradley's my favorite player and I would hate to see him go. If it's going to happen, I do the trade straight up for the better of the Lakers or 76ers pick next year.

I do like Saric a lot, but I'm not sold on his defensive potential. Maybe he gets there and was just overmatched. But I do think his numbers were a bit inflated due to his minutes volume.

Then again, I also think he's a gamer - he's tough and will compete. And with so many of our bigs heading off the books, maybe Saric is just the right guy to step in. A lineup of:

IT / Fultz
Smart / Jaylen
Hayward / Jae
Saric
Horford

Doesn't offer much in terms of rim protection or rebounding, but it could be a beautiful offense.

EDIT: I guess we start Smart at the 2 and not Hayward (if we get him)? Or Fultz? Still some question marks there.

Oh darn, we wouldn't make it back to the round where Cleveland embarrasses us like little boys! Darn it!

They are gonna likely lose AB to free agency anyways. Would be nice to get something for him

Wouldn't be a rental if we were willing to pay him 20 million this summer, but yeah I wouldn't trade AB for Noel either. In fact I wouldn't trade for Noel at all. The way I see it, he is not a good enough fit next to Horford.

Giving Bradley a big deal makes no sense, for the team nor the salary cap. Giving a 2nd tier player big $$ when we're already overloaded with perimeter players (and players of his caliber) would be foolish. If we land Hayward, keeping AB is a virtual impossibility.

AB's been great for the team, but he represents the sort of in-between player that has us firmly below the NBA's best teams, and he's a progress stopper for Fultz or anyone else we get at the position. He has to go.

I'd start Hayward at 2 with Crowder at 3 and Saric at 4. I think they can hold their own at those positions and switch all over. Throw in Jaylen off the bench covering the 2 and 3 (and sometimes 4) and that's quite the rotation. Small but highly skilled.

Not if you believe in Simmons. A lot of people think he'll be a superstar. Personally, I don't trust his ability to stay healthy, but there's no way Philly would trade him for anything that didn't include an asset the level of our BRK 18.

Edit: and you way overvalue Bradley. Even if he had more years on his contract, no way Philly would give up a potential top 5 pick for him. AB isn't worth that.

I want Bradley to finish his career here.  To me he's a organizational success.  Hopefully Danny feels the same way.
