Lebron didn't join the Celtics after the 2010 season, he went to start something essentially from scratch in Miami. So I don't even like that comparison. What Durant did is next level.
exactly. The lebron to Miami comparison makes no sense. The heat were a lottery team basically before lebron joined. The warriors had a better record than the 96 bulls and minutes away from a back to back championship

And I have to say, much as I wish Durant was raising the trophy in kelly green, it is nice (for lack of a better word) to see the crowning of one of the basketball history's brightest stars.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

DKC Clippers

it just doesn't feel right, right?

you can see zero excitement from the players, like they know they are cheating or something.

i'm not hating on them, I am happier to see them win than LeBron, but what is next in line, just forming two allstar teams, skip the whole season, skip the playoffs and just play the finals.

Im fine with this. I mean i dislike draymond and curry and i lost respect to durant with hia kove, butctou cannot blame gs for it. And at least this shuts up obnoxious cavs fans on fts and my facebook page.

This whole Finals was quite "meh". It just doesn't feel like anything really.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

Literally everyone knew since they got Durant they'd win the Finals unless someone got hurt

Four all-stars and two MVPs, no team in history has ever been so loaded

NBA is a joke, don't even pretend it's competitive when the greatest player in the world barely won one game against a superstar team and the regular season was utterly meaningless

Iggy was an all-star too by the way...

This was bought, not earned. Kevin Durant joined an already-overstacked superteam in the Warriors.

In my eyes, he never earned the championship. Anyone can win a championship with four all-stars in their prime/entering their prime.

Great games by LeBron James and Kyrie Irving though. I hate them too, but they did gave it their all.

Now for the Celtics to overtake the Eastern Conference next year...  ;D ;D ;D
