This was bought, not earned. Kevin Durant joined an already-overstacked superteam in the Warriors.

In my eyes, he never earned the championship. Anyone can win a championship with four all-stars in their prime/entering their prime.

Great games by LeBron James and Kyrie Irving though. I hate them too, but they did gave it their all.

Now for the Celtics to overtake the Eastern Conference next year...  ;D ;D ;D

Cavs have the highest payroll in the NBA, GSW are 14th. The CAVS just spent their money on roll players and GSW got stars.

it just doesn't feel right, right?

you can see zero excitement from the players, like they know they are cheating or something.

i'm not hating on them, I am happier to see them win than LeBron, but what is next in line, just forming two allstar teams, skip the whole season, skip the playoffs and just play the finals.

Celtics did it too so stop
Celtics added the 2nd best player in prime to a 73-9 team? When?

That's the greatest part of what GS has done... they were under the luxury tax this year, while CLE was nearly $10 mil higher in payroll than the next highest team in Portland.  They built this dynasty through incredibly shrewd drafting and FA acquisitions.  CLE's attempt to buy a chip fell short.  And LeBron continues to solidify his legacy as the greatest athlete to ever play the game, yet several notches below GOAT status.  All is right in the world.  Markelle Fultz.

Cleveland Miami Boston all did it.  Lebron did it with two team yet you have a problem with this lol get over it

Last I checked Boston gutted their roster just to get KG and Ray Allen.

LeBron jumped ship to secretly form a trio in Miami. KD35 took it to the next level joining a 73-9 team that beat him. Thas the difference between the Celtics, and LeBron/KD35

he thinks a "past prime KG" added to the lottery Celtics is equal to KD joining the stacked 73-9 warriors who were minutes away from a back to back championship

I just hope this is the end of this "super team" era. I'm afraid it will only be the beginning though. LeBron already plotting his next move.

you can see zero excitement from the players, like they know they are cheating or something.

This is common among athletes who have been under a lot of pressure to win. They are more relieved than happy. I can understand that, especially if you consider last year's choke. Imagine what would have gone through their minds if they'd lost this one.

Love to Boston part 2?

Maybe in a 3-team trade with Indy:

Love to Boston.
George to Cleveland.
BKN '18 + Bradley + Zeller to Indy.

Love at the 4 would make us a dangerous offensive team, and Indy makes out well in this scenario.   Hayward + Love would be a salary cap issue, so I doubt it'd come to fruition.  But I do think we'd challenge for the EC title next year.
