I like Gallo's skillset, but you can't rely on him.GP since 2012: 43, 71, 0, 59, 53, 63Hayward: 66, 72, 77, 76, 80, 73
A guy who Ainge always loved could be an under the market find...Personally Id take Gallinari at 17-18 mil a year over Hayward at the max...Gall has 2" in height and plays the 3 or 4... They shoot almost identical 3p%, FT%, and rebound the same I think the point will eventually be moot as Utah will probably offer Hayward a huge contract to stay..

So we can spend 13 million on another role player?Gallinari is arguably a bigger injury risk than Brook Lopez. Gordon Hayward is about to enter his prime and is a far superior player. One is a potential All NBA player. One is a washed up walking injury riddled role player.

As others have said, as a back up in case talks with Hayward fall through. As an alternative though, he is far too fragile to take a risk on.

Gallinari is not better than either of these.
Maybe as a fall back option but I don't think so.
