This kind of humiliation is no where being seen. The most negative record of NBA history for first time, being 31-72 after first half. Sure that this team does not have a real coach, but a kid, out of NBA level. Plus an irresponsible GM, who brings every year, in last 5 years only junk and mediocre players. This team have to be reformatted from ground zero, if pretend to see a real tema during playoff.

Dude.  Take a chill pill.  Be grateful that the Celtics have gotten this far.

I'd also like to take this chance to thank Billy King, the real GM of the Celtics.  Ainge had nothing to do with obtaining Jaylen Brown, the #1 pick this year, and an unprotected 2018 first rounder all but guaranteed to land in the lottery.
Another horrible take

Get a new sarcasm meter.
When you are losing by 46 the sarcasm meter goes out of comission.

I've seen people on here who actually believe that Ainge sucks and all of his success is attributed to luck and he shouldn't be credited for them.

This is the biggest overreaction I have ever seen on any board ever. Without question this premise is the dumbest I have ever seen and that is saying something.

How old are you? You sound like a temperamental, shortsighted 13 year old

Stevens seems to hit a wall against the elite teams with the small ball approach. Tonite, they are shooting 30% while the Cavs are shooting 60%. No contest.

Anybody who looks at the Celtics can see they are weak up front defensively. In the paint. The Cavs know that.

Ainge is going to be forced to get a rim protector if he is to go any higher with this team--Fultze or no. He needs a couple of role players up front who can defend and rebound. Red thrived on such players--Satch, Russell, and even Luscotoff and Brannum. Parish, McHale and Bird did everything up front. KG, Perk, Powe, Pierce...

There are about 28 franchises with similar or worse outlooks than ours.

The second best team in the East + #1 draft pick + max cap space = fire everyone
I still think Toronto is better though if Lowry leaves that could change but otherwise you are pretty spot on here.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Dude, this is a healthy Cavaliers team. It's not freaking Indiana, Chicago, Washington or Toronto.

Nobody in the East is getting past them as long as two of their Big 3 is healthy.

You just insulted all temperamental, shortsighted 13 year olds with this post, and they really do not deserve this.

Not to legitimize a horrible OP but there is a lot of real estate between "getting past" Cleveland and losing by 50 on your home court.

how many days rest did the overmatched  Celtics have? how many referees did they have on their side? and finally, oh nevermind.

Officiating has not been that bad. Rest is a legit point. These Celtics are burnt out.
