wait until we draft fultz and sign Hayward outright.   Then maybe we make a trade.  I'm not that big on hayward unless it is a scenario where we make a trade either.

It's paul pierce and Paul George talking.  Larry bird was a great player too. Not the best GM. That's the problem with the media though is no offense to pierce in that regard either. He might even makea  good gm someday. But talk is cheap. It's always making assumptions.  All of it is fake news and opinions.

So yes it is fake news.  All of it is. Bunch of phonies as Salinger would say. That's my sense of humor lol.

Even people who win championships are phonies.  Everybody is in some regard.  just human though. Fortunate for sure. Some more than others in diferent ways.  What that is defined as is also phony sometimes.

Haha.

Zeller
Bradley
Rozier
2018 Nets first
2018 Celtics first
2019 Clippers first
2019 Grizzlies first

For Paul George with extension. I know the offer looks light but the Pacers may have no choice.

i disagree with you

Bird was a good coach and GM.... except for two moves that has crippled the organization

1. Trade away Leonard and 2. not resigning Stephenson

Oh for sure. I love Bird.  He definately was a good GM.  Situations are also sometimes difficult.

Id on't think bird's strength was always getting everyone on the same page though. Great competitor.

He may even be someday.  jerry west failed for years. Looking like a genius now.

Even if he doesn't Bird is still great. Same with pierce.  Accomplishing something is what it is.  Still not taking anything away from them. Sometimes situations and life just dictate that.

The media crazy train is the same thing.  Why I don't mind Trump sometimes.  Everyone deserves a fair shot in some regard.  I don't agree with everything he's doing but that's his style.  The media is just as bad in reverse sometimes.

You can choose how to navigate things but even that is sometimes difficult.  People can be hypocritical regardless.

You have to be yourself too and I don't agree with everything. There are some real jerks out there haha. Ignorance comes in many forms. How people judge that's a human thing.

Why the second one? Stephenson flamed out on 5 different teams after leaving Indiana and now they have him on cheap money. Would he have really put them over the top the last few years. I think Lance needed to go out and have the experience he had to accept his role. He is only 26 now and I don't think they were winning a title with him the last few years so hard to call it a big mistkae.

As far as basketball and this trade it's a definate no in my opinion until all ducks are in a row and it's the best opportunity for us to win though. How we win too, short term and long term although that is somewhat debateable.

Pierce makes a good point though. Not taking anything away from that.

I'm still looking for  that situation that gives us that best long term and short term way of doing that.  That's the thing.

bc the Pacers were cheap and didn't overpay a little to keep him

George was never quite the same since lance left......and when Lance cameback....

I mean vs the cavs in the playoffs they lost all 4 games within 6 points margin ....

Totally agree Triboy.  George can still play.  He is only as good as his supporting cast. He does get hurt a lot but a lot of of that is circumstance.  When KG got here and went down with that injury I'll never forget that.  Pierce got stabbed.  He came back and won a championship.  I wouldn't count Paul George out.

I do have some questions as far as how far back and healthy George is.  He had a pretty devastating injury.   He's had years to recover though and may be at that point where he is fully back.

He could go the complete other direction too though.  Doctors can give the go ahead but it's up to George how he feels.

George could see this as his last shot at a title.   I'm not sure that is something I want to invest in.  Maybe.

George is still only 27 years old.  He has mileage though because he came in out of highschool.  IT is 28 and just reaching his prime and was underutilized.  Horford is 32 and pretty typical.  That gives us a 5 or 6 year window depending plus...  It's not horrible.

We trade for George and his body breaks that would be devastating though. That's a chance you have to take in ways if you do something like that.

I would definately have doctors go over his body and medical records with a fine tooth comb though.

Rumor: Lakers told not to trade for Paul George because he might just sign anyway

Yep. Zero chance DA is even remotely considering trading for this guy

I think ainge would consider anything.  If we trade for him all ducks have to be in a row though. That #1 pick is super valuable to us.  George is no sure thing.

Maybe not anything but anything that could potentially put us in position to win.  Paul George defiantely fits that criteria.

I'm confused. Is the "zero chance" comment attributable to Woj or just the other stuff?
