Is Fultz a no brainer at this point?

What do you consider him?  I was just reading mock drafts post lottery and every one of them has Fultz going to us except 2 I read one was cbs's had Tatum going to us. I say that's about how I feel about 80 percent certain.  70 percent  if you count trading the pick. 

Where would you put Fultz percentage wise. Is he 100 percent meaning no brainer.

Nice thing is this may be the easiest draft for me in a while.  I really don't have to look at anyone else which is good because I need that. There are a few other guys and trade scenarios but eh.  I might just leave it at that this year.

Its fun and all running the celtics from my living room haha but after years of it and not reaping the rewards besides being a fan and knowing I know what I'm talking about, I need the break.

ainge will workout 4-5 prospects (unless a guy like Ball skips on purpose) first

Fultz has the best chance to be chosen though...not 100 percent

Ball and Jackson are very good prospects. They are not on Markelle's level. He is the clear, no-brainer choice at #1. Additionally, I saw that CBS mock with Tatum at #1, and it was laughably bad. Tatum over Fultz would be franchise-crippling.

Yes. Ball would be in serious contention if he wasn't commited to going to LA. dad repeated today he doesn't want Celtics getting ball, and ball is only working out for Lakers showing that's where he wants to be.

But danny said he wants a shooter/shot maker and fultz is it

If Danny wants Tatum, then it will be in a trade with Philly down to #3 along with maybe Saric and a future 1st.

I don't think Danny wants Tatum more than Fultz, though.

Thing is past years I was never that huge on guys like Wiggins and Simmons etc. I liked them and all but I really liked where we were and guys like smart and jaylen etc..  I really like Fultz this year and think it's the right pick. I'm not 100 percent sure though. there are some questions but like i said about 70/80 percent depending on trades. The mocks are right on this year as far as us.  I dont have to argue about it too much.  Even the bradley draft.  Some mocks definately had these guys going to us at the end but a lot didn't.



IF we had been in that position it would have been interesting though.  I am glad we aren't philly or these teams trying to build with young players and egos though at young ages trying to develop chemisty. That stuff is tough.

I find it amazing that just 3 years ago he was 5'9" and playing JV basketball.  Now he's 6'4" and one of the most polished prospects I can recall and he's still only 18.  He's 100% a no brainer.

He has morphed himself around completely it seems like.  He is definately worthy of being the #1 selection.  He also really fits us.  Good to hear you say 100 percent though.    I want a consensus of how people feel.    IF anyone thinks absolutely no way by all means as well.  Let it out. Now is your time to shine haha.  I've been there in the past on past choices and usually there's a reason for it.

I personally love Josh Jackson's upside. But I find it hard to buck 100% of NBA draft analysts who think Fultz is the real deal.

Yeah this seems more cut and dry this time around.  I think everyone wants this guy and we should too.

Also agree that Tatum is the wildcard.  With maybe jackson or someone else surprising slipping in but more likely a trade scenario. 

Ball would really suprise me but i wouldnt say absolutely no chance.  That just be a total flip of fortunes we take ball and Fultz goes to the lakers.  Shocker.

I think you have to medically clear Fultz's knees.  He missed a ton of games this year. If he checks out fine I have no problems taking him.  But it ought not to be given without doing due diligence.

I feel you man. Honestly this offseason is pretty straightforward. Draft Fultz, bring over Zizic, trade one of our guards for a decent big, then go all in on Hayward.
