He's far more polished and NBA-ready than Jalen was, and Jalen gave us a significant contribution this season. The minutes he gave us night before last were invaluable. We might not have won without him.
I expect Fultz to be eased in, but I also think he'll be a bigger part of the rotation than Jalen was most of the year.
I disagree... Jaylen is a better defender than Fultz
Defense gets you min under cbs (especially if you are a rookie)
Cbs is not patient when it comes to defense 'nuts and bolts' , consistent effort
Not saying Fultz cant do it ... But its not easy for a rookie to do
I thhink you will really like Fultz triboy. He had 0 shooters on his team last year and had a horrible coach that literally did everything one would do if they were trying to sabotage a player lol. Even with 0 spacing and defenses all over him he still smoothly beasted teams in every way possible. Personally, I can't wait to see how insane he plays with a team of well coached players that shoot the hell out of the ball and have great spacing.
Defensively I feel like he will do fine bc of our coach, culture, vets, and the gifts he was born with(6'10'' wingspan and 8'6'' standing reach).
Fultz has made large strides in every season since he was cut from varsity as a soph in hs. Like Brown he has such a good head on his shoulders and is an incredibly hard worker.
Most of all Fultz had pride and we need to remember that this kid is competitive and wants to be ROY and a great player. I see him workign his ass off this off-season to make himself defensively sound bc on our team and CBS if you can't play sound D then he knows he won't even play enough to be in the convo for ROY or anything else.
