Not a serious point...just curious...now that he has the #1 pick...do you think he's taking more calls from other GMs or is he out there beating the bushes?

He's waiting to showcase players in summer league. And if the call is the Bulls or someone he's saying "Yeah. You coulda had the #1 pick. Yeah. I know."

Taking more phone calls.... You can bet several teams will be calling him

Gm: hey danny you are loaded at the guard position. Trade us the 1 for xyz and 4th pick

For example

Definitely taking calls because we are in the drivers seat no matter what.  If I am Danny there's no reason to not take a hard line stance with every team regarding our #1 pick.  If teams call he should just keep it short and sweet.  We are dealing from a position of strength and there's no reason to bend at all in negotiations.  The price for the pick will only rise as we get closer to the draft.  Opposing GM's will feel the pressure.

Well stated and a tp for you. Yes, this is a very good time to be a Celtics fan.

I don't see a trade in the works for the number one pick. But I do see other trades to make room for the pick.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

He probably turned off his phone, just to screw with everyone who didn't play with him in the past couple of years.

Danny is in the drivers seat big time .

That #1 pick has the player alot of teams need .

Danny has 2018 and several nice players to work a deal.

he has players he wants .....let their GMs make the first moves .....see who really wants to play.

id still trade a boatload for Davis

I expect these guys to play like their hair is on fire vs the Cavs. Now everyone knows they could be dealt and want to either stay or audition for other teams.

Ainge has a real chance to build a dynasty because the dividends from KG and PP will still be paying off next year. King may have made the worst trade in NBA history...but only time will tell.
