Mike Gorman ask what the c's need

Danny say shot creaters/scorers that can score at the end of the game. Sounds like Fultz to me. Hayward too.

Pretty much how I took it took when I saw that live. C's have a  desperate need for another player who can create their own shot outside of IT. Fultz not only is the best overall talent but he also checks off those needs.

The whole interview makes it seem like fultz is coming. He clearly said he will pick BPA.

Tatum is an advanced shooter As Well. Basically confirms we won't draft josh "no jumper, 50% FT" Jackson and lonzo ball

Without IT they're a bunch of guys who shoot 3's all the time because no one can get to the basket so absolutely.

You guys realize this is basically an admission Smart is a bust right?

Drafting Fultz means Smart can take a seat.

It's also an admission Avery is probably on the way out

Why does this mean goodbye to Smart? IT/Fultz provide offense, Rozier and Smart defense and energy. That is a great guard rotation.

AB likely gets traded for a big man

I didn't get that admission from the interview.

I have to Iaugh at the people who think Avery is out. Bradley is 2x the player Smart is, and Fultz won't be able to lace his sneakers for awhile. You move Bradley and go with Smart and a rookie and the present takes a big hit. Avery saved our season with huge games on multiple nights, while defending an elite player. No one can replace that outside of Klay or Butler.

You realize that different players have different skillsets, right?  Smart is a very important member of the team, even if breaking down a defense is not a strength.

I like AB. I really do. But to say no one can replace him except Klay or Butler is idiotic. Bradley has a year left on his deal and is due for a big pay raise. You can't afford everyone. He'd fetch a solid big and some cap space to be able to sign Hayward as well.

It's premature to call Fultz. Like Danny said, he's open for Ball (God forbid), Jackson and Tatum if he believe they are the best player available. He will still go for the highest ceiling even if that player can't shoot the other side of the barn right now as long as he can create.

Creating=/=shooting

If you think we can move Bradley and his game on both ends of the floor for a solid big and not take a big hit, you're crazy. Smart is a black hole on offense, and Fultz will be a rookie. We will be a leader team in this scenario. Bradley is huge for us.

That bust helped them win a Game 7 against a pretty good team last night. I just watched Fultz' s 'weakness' video and lets just say that defensively he's probably the polar opposite of Smart (and Bradley) in the intensity department.  You take those 2 away and you gut one of the strengths of this team.

All three guys have just been so good in the playoffs, going to be brutal trading one (or maybe two) away..
