Honestly I am very much in wait and see mode on this one. But it's going to be important for this team to be able to extend guys like Smart and KO. These kind of roleplayers really make the celtics go. I also think Ainge is more loyal than people give him credit for and isn't going to trade his guys on a dime   I also think the C's need a big man to develop behind horford to go with him and KO going forward.  Amir is still good but we need something else there.  Vucevic is out there and 26 but not sure trading the #1 pick to Orlando and Fultz going there is really smart. We could maybe pick up a later Orlando pick down the road in the deal but not sure I would do that.   Ainge also develops his players and understands chemistry and finds players the internet consensus usually doesn't.  Brad then makes it all go.  IT is the catalyst and isn't going anywhere any time soon.  Horford has 3 years left on his contract.  I also don't think Crowder or even Bradley would be traded. They fit too well.  We could make a move for butler but trading Bradley for him or a pick is not a no brainer by any means.

We have Jaylen developing.  I don't think you move him either. I also think Ainge will explore things.  He has 30 days.   I also like a lot of guys this draft.  Even Isaac is a sleeper down the draft.  Jackson I like.  Tatum and Ball too but not sure they are coming here.   Ainge will look for deals.  He values his players.  We have Rozier, Jerebko still. Green. These are all good players.

But maybe I'm overthinking it.  Take Fultz. Go after Ayton next year. Fultz is locked up and cheap. Maybe he can play some small forward.

Guys like Smart are too valuable to this team.  Same with KO imo.  Same with Jaylen.  I could see taking another SF maybe.

Brad is the master of making it all work. But how is that all going to work?  You have to be able to play and develop these guys.

Maybe a lineup of IT, Bradley, Crowder,  Horford for now.  With Fultz, Rozier, Smart, Jaylen, KO and Ayton for later would work?

Let Green and Amir go.  Maybe even Jerebko too. Bring Zizic and Yab over. Maybe hang onto Mickey and Jackson or substitute Green and Jerebko maybe or even Amir for a year.

stay the course. keep developing our youngsters for future.  grab a FA for the 3 spot. no rush to make a trade.  Zizic can rebound and roll to the rim. he could give us double doubles eventually.

he is only 20 like brown. the future is bright
LET'S GO CELTICS!

I've always been that type of person.  Let it work itself out. Ainge is advertised as this trader danny and the media is always you got make that trade for this guy or that guy or take this guy or taht guy.  I've never liked that mentality.  Ainge doesn't work like that either.  I had Bradley, Smart, KO and Jaylen way before a lot of people too because I am good at finding players who fit the celtics style but continue to explore different avenues but usually right on when the pick  comes.  I'm also good at saying stuff that people say will never happen and then does.  It's not always cut and dry.  But there are players I like.

I'm not even saying this is it.  But it's like trying to put a puzzle together of how it can all actually work.

There are still tons of players i like this draft too. Jackson, tAtum, Ball, Isaac springs to mind for some reason.  I dont think Ball or TAtum necessarily end up here though.  I think Jackson is more likely in ways.   Rumors will probably abound between Ball and Fultz though.  I havent looked at Ball too much yet.  He could sway me but not really seeing that right now.  I think the lakers really want him but who knows.

Ainge has all the cards here.

I have same good feeling on getting Fultz, as I did with Russell,McHale/Parish,Bird.Cant wait until next team,Loved pick of Zizic last year. Wait 1 more year and we get our future big.

I think this is the year we  maybe get the guy we want and everyone actually cheers at the draft vs boos lol.  Who knows though.  Ainge is still talking like there are other players he likes too.  He's already scouted these guys and still has 30 days too.   I found it interesting he said he wasn't anxious at all though. Just fun.  C's are set up well.
