IMO it would be a mistake to trade Crowder for salary relief. He is way more valuable than that. Same goes for Bradley.

This gives Ainge the opportunity to do whatever he wants and drastically make the team better without stripping core members of our team.

I think he's forced to keep Fultz just from talent alone but if he wants to move the pick, George/Butler/Porzingis etc are much readier available.

If we could sign Hayward, moving AB and Crowder for a big would be ideal. Markelle will probably bring enough on offense to justify starting and playing 20 or so minutes. Smart and Rozier should be able to provide the other guard minutes.

I'm considering an AB/Smart/Rozier trade significant. If we pick Fultz, one or more of AB, Smart, or Rozier will have to go, most likely for an upgrade in the big department.

At that point financially it can't work

But for one season...you can stack it hard to try to win a championship
