Please don't do something stupid Ainge. Just take Fultz.

told you...he is going to workout 4-5 players...maybe even twice

He likes the 4 guards on the team now...prob loves them...

He could trade it also

I don't think its a guarantee he takes Fultz

he could be also saying this to provide focus for AB, IT4, Smart, Rozier... until playoffs are finished

got a little confused with that Kings pick

i thought the analyst was saying that...it was going to jump into the top three and the 76ers could swap??

but Sac only dropped to #5 and will get the pick

what was the deal with this?

Kings jump from #8 to #3, Sixers stay at #5 and invoke their swap rights, Kings and Sixers swap #s 3 and 5.

8->3->5

Wonder since the Cs landed #1, if they draft Fultz, will they concentrate on trading the Nets 2018 pick with players for that needed superstar. If they feel Fultz is a cornerstone I figure if they go after Butler, George or some other star, its the 2018 pick that gets dealt.

Yeah -- I would think that both Nets 2018 and Jaylen Brown are in the thinking about how they can create a tempting package for a star without losing Fultz.

Brown could be better than Fultz. Wouldn't think of trading him.

Yeah, Brown isn't just a ho-hum young player that never materialized. He still has massive value and potential. The 2018 pick is pretty huge, too.

You replace that '18 pick with this year's and include Brown, I think that gets you a shot at Davis.

Wow. I don't know what to make of that. If we use #1 on anyone other than Fultz it could be a disaster.

Ainge has to say these things in case other teams come knocking for a trade. He also has to do his due diligence. But ultimately, every draftnik site and probably every NBA front office has it right....Fultz is the #1 guy in this class. His potential is way higher than Kyrie Irving and John Wall, IMO. And my guess is long term, he is a SG with PG handles playing alongside IT.

IE if you want a top tier player don't bother dealing with LA or Philly b/c Boston might take anybody!

So Ainge should just go out there and proclaim, "we're taking Fultz"?

He still has TONS of options to explore (trades, etc.). Not worried at all. I'm sure he'll take Fultz anyways.

In talking to Goodman, he also just said something to the effect of, if he had to make the pick today, he could (but is going to use the 36 days because he has it).

Ainge isn't stupid; of course he isn't going to give away his undying love for Fultz.
