  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.

Play him a little more, Brad.

If we sign Hayward but lose Amir, Zeller, JJ, doesn't KO make sense as a starter?

What about Zizic?

I think I like Kelly as an off the bench offensive spark.

Shaq and Charles just nicknamed him KNOCKOUT Olynyk....K.O.

That's a great nickname.  I guess he didn't truly deserve until now.  Unless you count the way he knocked Kevin Love out of the 2015 playoffs.

KO still has way too many vulnerabilities to give him a big contract ...
Cant defend and is a terrible rebounder for his size..
Lacks athleticism ...

He does however is able to make these create your own shots and is crafty albeit it doesnt look too great ...
lots of borderline traveling ...
Still think his three point shooting is below average...
I still think he could be a much better player if he develops better discipline and takes care of his body..

Kelly, I'm so sorry I talked trash about you for much of this series.

If we don't sign a max-player, we'll GLADLY keep you for next season w/Bird Rights  ;D

Okay guys, your turn.  ;)

We can do both.

How? Don't we have to take away KO's cap hold for them to even sign a max-FA?

Yeah, I thought we had to trade AB for a pick next year if we wanted to sign a max FA and keep KO.

Pay this man!

I'm staying consistent with my take that if there is a Brooklyn Nets out there that wants to buy him at an obscene number then we can let him walk.

But if the RFA tender comes in at anything reasonable, match it and pay this man. Either way happy for Kelly that he was able to prove himself on the biggest stage!

He just played the game of his life on the biggest stage of his life.

Congrats to him....well deserved.

Let's see how he does in the next series.....sign him, use him in a S&T, whatever.

Glad he had his moment in the sun.......we should enjoy it....at least for one night we can shut up all the coulda, woulda, shoulda Greek Freak stuff..........I root for that guy to fail just to not hear all the talk about a Buck on Csblog. Wrong color green.

We do.  And trading Bradley makes the max salary math easier than letting Olynyk walk.

Decisions decisions.. Ugh. Not sure if I'm willing to sacrifice AB to keep KO.

But KO was balling tonight. AB had great games too. What to do...

AB put up 56 points between games 4 and 5.

And he plays good D.

I love what KO did tonight, but let's not get too caught up in the moment.

It's not an "in the moment" thing; it's about roster balance. If we sign Hayward, we need KO more than Bradley.  Plus, as SL alluded to, there's about a $1.1 million difference in Bradley's salary and KO's cap hold.

If we don't get pick number 1, move it, Bradley Johnson and a future non Brook first for Butler, sign Hayward and resign KO.

IT/Rozier
Butler/Smart/Green
Hayward/Brown
KO/Crowder/Yabo
Horford/Vet MIn FA/Zizic

I just don't think Butler is worth all of that, especially since Jaylen is going to be getting better. Maybe it's better to trade for a big man and try to sign AB after a year over trading for Butler.

I can't wait to revisit this thread after game 1 against the Cavs. No way Kelly keeps this production up.

Thanks for everything he has done for us, but I would still let him walk in FA.
