What's the use of scoring five points out of nothing and, in the next two possessions a turnover and an airball?

That's what I (and many) have been advocating for the whole year. He gives a lotm but he takes away a lot too. That's why we are not sure if he can get 30 M per year from a true contender or he is just a (very good) complement. I won't say a super Eddie House, this is exagerating, but maybe not as much as we thought.

I thought the loss was due to the bench did not show up at all. What was it? 5 points from the bench? That's crazy!

The turnover was bad. But it was more than IT at fault. The Wizards trapped him. There was like zero effort from the other 4 C's on the floor to give him an outlet. They also had 3 timeouts. CBS should have just used one.

IMO the necessity to HIDE IT on defense is his true and greatest flaw. We are truly lucky that Porter is not aggressively attacking IT.

Kind of my opinion as well. Had smart ran towards the middle of the floor and help give IT an easy pass instead of standing 4 feet behind the arc opposite IT he probably makes a better play. Also Brad should've called a timeout and drew up a play or something at that point. Crucial possession that could've put them away. But I'm confident our guys and especially Brad will take this as a learning experience and realize we gotta step on their throats at that point in the game
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

Spot on. Sure seemed like Brooks caught Steven's off guard there.

Anywho, it's all good.  Kinda cool that Isaiah alone lifts us from a lotto team to an ECF contender.  Smart and Rosier are blessed to be able to learn from a great player.

This is a disgusting lack of respect to Horford, Bradley, Crowder and the rest of our role players that DO defend to hide Thomas.

This is another thread that requires some perspective.  If you remove IT, we are a lotto team. That's a fact.  You created the rest of what I said in your own mind. I've given the others more than enough credit this season.

Of course than playing 4 against 5 we'd be a lottery team. And that's what we basically do in defense.
