Just now had a chance to come on here, so I apologize if this was mentioned elsewhere, but it definitely wasn't mentioned on the broadcast. How in the world did the clock run from 3.5 seconds to 1.7 seconds when Olynyk got fouled? As soon as I saw that, I was 100% sure they'd consult the replay and put at least 2.5 or 3.0 on the clock. If we'd had an extra second, that buys us a lot more time to do something with the inbounds pass. Did anyone else notice that?

Yeah I was wondering the same thing. They usually review it to put more time on the clock.

Just watched the game...YES,there should have been like 2.8 left---Olynyk was fouled right away--and the whistle blown right away---how in the world does Washington's time keeper get away with this garbage--?...and it's not even questioned. I thought the NBA had rules for end of game situations....but NOBODY even noticed this--?

Yeah, I was surprised in the arena too.  Watching it live (albeit from the rafters) I wasn't sure Olynyk had even touched it before the foul.  I was very surprised that extra time wasn't added.

Just watched the replay.  That was highway robbery.  There is NO WAY IN THE WORLD, that there should have been 1.7 seconds.  3.2 minimum.  Horrible call that turned what could've been a good look to win into a prayer.

That was a complete hose job. The foul was called almost immediately, so there was no way that much time lapsed.

Worst part, though, was that (apparently) no one on the Celtics (player or coach) seemed to notice or care.

Both.... if the refs ignore it, the C's should appeal !!! That is part of the coaches' job.

The officials definitely deserve most of the blame here, but Boston's coaching staff absolutely should have done everything in their power to make sure it was at least reviewed. If it gets reviewed and the refs still (mistakenly) leave the clock at 1.7, then it's out of their hands. But I have no idea how the refs didn't review it on their own. Glad I'm not the only one that noticed this.

Agreed.  After the Refs blunder, Brad kind of blew that one.  But, what a phenomenal call on that play call to KO that was SO CLOSE to working.

Bonehead refs...Brain Fart Celtics Coaches/Players. I just Don't know how Nobody even questioned this 1.7 crap...Not even the announcers.

Now watch---the league will come out and say there should have been more time on the clock.
