That is all wrong...why let a 30 ft open shot there when Wall has the range to hit it..let Wall drive and hit a difficult contested 2 pointer is what AB should have done rather than game over 3 which had happened.

You always give up 30 foot shots. Bradley fell back to the 3 point line, which is the right defense to stop Wall from driving and not giving up a normal 3 point shot. If the opposition wants to take that shot fron 6-7 feet beyond the 3 point line to win it, let em.

Why should Bradley have pressed up on Wall? That would've made it easier for Wall to blow by him and either draw the foul or hit a layup. Wall made one helluva shot. He was even a dribble or two away from the line when he let it fly.

YEs a 30 foot three pointer from a guy who shoots 30% and is having a meh shooting night. If the Celtics had a legit rim protector, you might have an argument, but we don't, so AB has to play that middle ground defense. He still contested it, but Wall is one of the quickest guards in the league and AB is also dealing with hip flexors.

Here is the issue with playing wall too close.  The would have almost certainly led to a foul.  These guys, and not just the stars, are too good.  They can force a foul very easily.  And contrary to what the OP said, that is the last thing you want in that situation.

He could have easily have kicked it out on a drive to much better 3pt shooters in Beal, Porter, and Morris. Same result.
