Some of you sound like guys too scared to guarantee a Super Bowl win or to say you're the greatest and the prettiest and that you're gonna beat Sonny Liston.

Ooohhh nooooo. We caaann't wear all black! What if we lose? What will people think? We might make the other team mad.

Even Tommy think it is stupid

Maybe Tommy doesn't understand black culture in the year 2017. Maybe the team already knows when they are in DC it's them vs the world and they actually WANT the crowd to be hostile. Maybe the team knows they fell into a pattern they really want to break out of. Maybe they want to win one on the road and don't want to go home as losers.

Maybe by attacking the other team like this they take the focus of the other team off basketball.

I don't see this as the same as when the Celts showed up at the finals and there were balloons in the rafters. And actually even if there had not been balloons in the rafters I think they would have won anyway.

OMG....... black culture ?

Are you kidding me ? A huge part of the destruction of Black America is their supposed "culture." ........ where criminals are celebrated and doing well in school and having some character is seen as weak.

Jesus Christ, go away with this bull****.

If your first impression as an ignorant know-it-all on the issues plaguing blacks in America is to speak about "Black America" as some monolith that idolizes gangsters and pimps, you need to shut up and go sit down or go to Stormfront with that.

Typical knee-jerk response from someone unable to think for themselves and see the real racism perpetrated by people who believe in "black culture."

Would it have been less racist if I had said "African American culture"?

If we lose the series because of this stunt, will you feel the same way, I bet not.  We are not much more talented than the Wizards.   When a series is close, you don't want to give the other team an edge.

I think there are racists of all colors sadly, but eja117 is not one of them and I think your way off base here.

If we lose the series I think it will be because of how the teams played, not dressed.

you gotta win that game if you're going to pull that crap. they didn't, they got punked and came out looking like clowns. they're not that kind of team and I don't see them recovering and the season's over for them Monday.

you COMPLETELY missed the point - no offense, but I am not surprised given your perspective.
