Normally I am not in favor of looking ahead but honestly why not???  For those who think it's disrespectful I ask them what is left to discuss in regards to this Washington series?  Ultimately will the Celtics be able to execute confidently and maintain their composure in Washington?  I believe they can but we really have no idea.  With this Washington series I think all we can do is sit and wait.  There are no secrets about either team.

I'm all into beating the Wiz because the C's do not match up with Cleveland.  They might win one game but I'd bet on a sweep.
A sweep seems a bit much. Chances are Cleveland wins at least one game.

With the combo of a max effort and shots dropping at a high rate (like last night) we can beat anyone.  It's just really hard to sustain that.

Yup

Anyone notice how KO actually defended lebron well this year , especially when he switched onto him.

Main defenders for Lebron would be Jae, Smart, Jerebko/Brown

For Kyrie - AB, Smart, Rozier

For Love - Amir, Ko ( I think Horford is the only big man that can keep Thompson from killing us on the boards).

Try to hide IT on Smith, but don't want him chasing korver everywhere using energy.

People, please stop.  We have one more win to get against a very good team.

This thread should be locked until we win that game.

Mods, do the right thing here!!!

The only way we beat cavs

1) outscore them in an offensive gunslinging match
2) prevent/slow down lebron from getting into the paint.... Then all they can do is play hot potato around the perimeter

For a good part of the game you need jaylen on lebron and ab/rozier/smart locked into Irving

You have crowder or smart on lebron for long stretches forget it...

there. made that a bit simpler for you.  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

The best thing is that this Celts team is matured. This isn't the same team that the Cavs swept a couple years back. It might be wishful thinking but if they load up on IT like they did against Demar I think we could make them pay. You saw it last night with IT setting picks for cuts and Horford facilitating.

I agree.
This thread is the jinx of all jinxes... If we will lose to the Wizards ill blame this thread .  we ain't won anythin yet and we have blown 3-2 before so this talk about the Cavs is silly.

Oh and just to play along....we ain't matchin shmit against Lebrick...the only way we beat em is if lebron forgets to charge his power ring as a member of green lantern Corp.

I haven't read the OP or any other post in this thread and only came in here only to say that I cannot even think about this question until we win the series.

My greatest hope: In a search for a good nightclub, LeBron decides that he's going to drive instead of taking the T. He takes the wrong one-way street and gets eternally lost trying to drive out of Southie.

Runner up greatest hope: He ends up here:

this last game did SEEM to be our best overall effort and performance of teh series. we could have beaten them by 30 like we did the bulls. we beat them worse than the score showed and the score still was not nice to the whizz. lol

Given how far the team has come in the past two years, it's amazing how it's still a reasonable prediction to expect a sweep by the Cavs. Shows how big the gap between them and the rest of the conference really is.
