That's my max For Avery given his injury concerns. In today's NBA he's worth it.

He is worth that in a vacuum but you can't really answer this question until you know what else happens

Yeah. If we get Fultz and have the chance to get Hayward, it might make sense to move on from AB, as much as I like the guy.

I really like him. I hate his injury probems. Does he just have the vulnerable tissue, so to speak or is it his style of play that gets him hurt ? I say move on from Olynyk before Bradley.

If we end up with Jackson or Tatum he should stay. More likely than not that is who we will draft.

4/70M with Bird Rights? SIGN ME UP.  ;D

Idk it's hard to choose which guard to let go if we draft Fultz.

Rozier and Smart look so good tonight as well.

Yes and thank you very much.

Avery is our unofficial Captain right now.

I think he commands more, but it's a tough question for sure. You sign Bradley and you sign IT you are basically locking in this same team for the foreseeable future which in the end probably can't beat Cleveland.
Obviously if we get Hayward Bradley is likely gone, i'd also think Bradley would be the main piece (in addition to picks) in a trade if Ainge goes down that road.

That being said, i'd personally lock Bradley in for 4 years 70 mil before i'd lock Thomas in for 5 years $125+ mil

From the three players we have to pay in 2018 (Bradley, Smart, Thomas) he is the most essential to win a championship. Top defender who can bother Curry, Irving, Wall and these monsters, and improving each year in offense and rebounding.

We have to eat up his injury concerns and pay him this, even 80 million per 4 years would be fine with me. He's my favourite Celtic now.

For all of Avery's injuries, the guy has no chronic long term injury concerns. He has never had any significant knee or ankle issues. His athleticism is fully intact.

He has been the best player on the floor for 3 of our 7 playoff wins so far this year, and has often won his matchups against players none of us would hesitate to pay the max.

The C's are going to sign IT and AB next year. He will sign for something closer to 5 years at $110M, and he will be worth it.

Really depends.   I think one of Smart and AB will be kept as part of the G rotation.   I think it depends on the draft pick.   If the pick has the PG skills, AB's outside shooting would be more valuable then Smart.   If the pick doesn't have PG skills, Smart's ability becomes more important.

Don't forget last year the reports that Avery was 'irked' with his contract situation.

I think that this will limit the amount of bargaining we can do with him. If AB is back expect a big contract with an option.
