I'm predicting that this will go down as a bad decision.

Thoughts?

Brad's dimwitted identical twin has seized control of the team at an extremely inopportune time.

Lol

In the playoffs as a whole, Amir has a -22.3 net on/off rating.  :(

I don't understand. Is Brad just too nice NOT to play him since he started all season long? I don't think that's the case, because he started Green for those games over Amir.

I think it's really he just doesn't know what else to do at this point. But I don't know why you wouldn't go with one of the other options at this point, literally almost any of the other options.

Yeesh, I think I'd rather see Zeller at this point before Amir.

It couldn't be any worse.

This is what I'd be inclined to do. Start Jerebko or Zeller; I can't see how either option would fare worse. They're certainly faster than Amir, Jerebko has some range, and Zeller is a good finisher at the rim.

I think a significant factor that's been overlooked is that both teams are young and emotional.  The Wiz are young and have some big personalities in their starting 5.  The Celts are also young, and most these guys have looked to be pretty emotional over the years -- Crowder, Smart, KO, IT, AB.

That's what I make of the big discrepancy between home and away records for these two teams, in this series (both) and the season (Wiz).  Sticking with Amir may instill confidence in the starting unit, and the bench has a major advantage we need to capitalize on.

Honestly, I can't think of another player that really deserves to start.  Marcus has been aweful.  Brown?  Not close to ready.  Rozier?  Okay, at least he's playing well.  But we'd be creating our own match up nightmares.  How dumb would that be?  Going small only works if you can create advantages.  We'd be doing the opposite.

So really, how can you blame BS when the options just aren't there.  We have personnel issues, not coaching ones.

Agreed.  I hope to see Rozier play though, and Crowder + AB need to show up.

We have personnel issues no doubt, but Amir cannot possibly be a solution.
