Yeah, it's REAL complicated, but this would help the C's in so many ways.

PG: Isaiah/Fultz/Rozier
SG: Bradley/Smart
SF: Hayward/Brown/(Nader?)
PF: Horford/Gibson/(Yabusele?)
C: Vucevic/Zizic

I don't think it works to be honest, but I think that's a great team with added rebounding, another legitimate scoring option, and some good, young development.

Vucevic is a great 15/10 kind of option who can help, and I'd consider him a more realistic option with the Magic likely to be tanking and is on a fairly cheap salary (12.5 M/Year next 2 seasons). Gibson helps as well, and so does Zizic (revamped and better front court IMO). Hayward is another legit scoring option, and Brown hopefully makes the second-year leap with more minutes while the C's (hopefully) add Fultz to the backcourt.

Problem seems to be, of course Hayward and his projected max, combined with the fact that we could lose the MLE in the process which could have nabbed Gibson. Unfortunately, we'd probably also have to lose Smart or Bradley in the process (creates another hole), or pray Hayward agrees to a small pay cut (99.9% unlikely).

Man, Ainge is going to have A TON of tough decisions to make this summer. I expect some legitimate heart breaks in the process (and unexpected, unfortunate surprises)  :(

Can you guys see another way for this to happen or this a full out pipe dream?

Honestly we should just go for a 4 that can rebound, shoot and defend (at least 2 out of 3). I'm thinking of Ilyasova, Faried or JaMychal Green. We already have Zizic who can grab boards when there's a Gortat type. Also Al is too slow to play the 4 full time

I get a sinking feeling that he will stay in Utah, of course, I hope otherwise.

I think so too, same with Griffin (he stays in LAC).

Then it's either trades or just draft and roll.
