Just listening to Stu Jackson on NBA TV, saying he would expect a fine but not a suspension because he didn't throw a punch.  That's an absolute joke.  You can't just watch that in slow motion and say that a) he didn't throw a punch and b) Olynk flopped.

Olynyk got suspended for tugging Love's arm in a scrum.  He didn't throw a punch and didn't have the chance to lead to a malice in the palace kind of situation.

I think he gets one game for knocking Olynyk down and one game for contact with the ref.  But then that would be the same suspension JR Smith got for a spinning back fist that injured a player and he had a history of transgressions.  Point being, the NBA is all over the place with suspensions.  If he doesn't get suspended, I think a fight breaks out in game 4.

As Celtics fans we should be hoping he does not get suspended. His +/- is -42 during this series. A series where Washington has been in the lead for the majority.

I don't condone Kelly on Kelly violence, but, I want Oubre on the floor as much as possible.

It cracked me up when, after Oubre was ejected, one of the announcers said it was a big loss for Washington. I was like, "What?!? Dude's barely done anything." I'd much rather see Gortat or Bogs tossed.

Let's add the Washington Wizards to the list of "historic rivalries" next to LeBron James, LA Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers, Detroit Pistons, and New York Knicks.

I'd rather not. The Lakers, Sixers and Knicks are true rivals, built up over years of head-to-head play. And, frankly, for many of the teams you listed, I have a grudging respect.

The Wizards are a bunch of punks who think that they can gain relevance in the world by going after a real team. Truthfully, the best comparison that I can think of is when the WWE tries to build up a villain by having them attack a well-loved babyface.

They may have p---ed us off this year with their antics, but soon, we'll go back to being the Celtics and just not caring about them, while they dream of a world where anyone cares enough about them to consider them a real rival.

We may win this series. They may win this series. But I guarantee you one thing: Five years from now, we'll still be the Celtics and they'll be "that basketball team from Washington."

Hopefully that pair is simply a result of the espn firings and I never have to hear that again. Right now I don't know if my love for the Celtics is greater than my disdain for Doris Burke's voice. The playoffs really make me appreciate Gorman.

I'm still angered by this today, it's disrupting my work.  Lol.  The context was rich for an incident like this, though -- bad blood in the regular season, recent incident at Fenway, Olynyk being the perfect target for a goofy-Caucasian hate crime, etc.

I believe it would be fair for Silver to issue the following sanctions:

Two-game suspension for Gortat, reduced to 1 game upon issuing a public statement: "It is inappropriate of me to repeatedly set screens with 'happy feet.'" Can be reduced to half of a game if he adds: "I apologize for scaring children."

Three-game suspension for Oubre due to child-like behavior.  Can be reduced to 2 games following a) Completion of an anger management program, or b) Explanation of why he acts tough but shares images like this:

No matter what, the technical and flagrant foul radar will be turned way up.

The team that plays smart will have a huge advantage.
Yeah can't wait for Jennings to be ****ing ejected to leave the Wizards with no backup PG at all

Well, I'm not sure that a Jennings ejection makes them worse.
NBA Officiating - Corrupt?  Incompetent?  Which is worse?  Does it matter?  It sucks.

+1. Jennings is a shell of the former player.  For all the hijinx, if Rozier just keeps his cool a bit more he wouldn't have been tossed.

Even the former player wasn't too much of a world beater.

Oubre was just about crying after that shove. Is it safe to say he's not really about that life? lol

Agree to disagree, Big.  Oubre seems to have a naughty side...
