Great. Another complaint about IT's game. Wonder if the Wizards will call him out on it and pester the refs about it to rescind made free throws or IT adjusts his FT shooting.

The author of that seems to be a real tool.

Did this joke of a writer really embed every tweet he could find of people whining about the same free throw?

Remember when fans used to loudly count to 10 during Karl Malone's extensive free throw routine?

...no? Well shoot, guess I'm old.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Thanks for posting article, but there is already another thread on this. Perhaps we could get these two threads merged(?)

The CSN Wizards writers are even worse. They've been consistently hounding that Al purposefully stuck his foot under Morris since it happened. It's so ridiculous, and it's so out of Al's character that it's kind of laughable.

The funny thing is that it's much more characteristic of something Markief would do, not Al.

I can remember fans doing the same to Jermaine O'neal.

This is a stupid article.

This messed up IT bad he got word of it and if you noticed in the last game he stopped doing it, and missed terribly. He should stick to his routine Javie was talking about it that refs don't usually call this unless he's using it to run and get his miss after. I say he should stick to his routine and if he's called then adjust. Washington media are crybabies.

I think its genuinely hilarious that opposing teams fanbases have convinced themselves that Kelly Olynyk and Al Horford are malicious, dirty players.

Just hilarious.

Hey, I agree. It's a rule violation. They should call it.

Of course, if we're going to be dealing with technicalities here, they should also call the more blatant fouls, such as Gortat's illegal screens. Isaiah will have to be more careful about his free throws, but he'll get a heck of a lot more of them.

Have any of you guys ever played basketball?  It's an absolute advantage to be able to shoot and let your momentum carry you forward and step over the line.  Especially for small guys.

While some may say he can easily just stop stepping forward I bet his percentage does drop slightly after that.  Otherwise he should stand 10 inches behind the line and step forward legally, behind the line.

Sure. Let's crack down on all traveling & palming, too.

The point of the rule is to keep guys from jumping over the line or running after their shot for a rebound. Enforcement to the letter of the law would be absurdly inconsistent with 100 other plays in every game.

Man, those DC fans seem really salty. Nothing I'd like better than rubbing their noses against the proverbial wall.
