Let me get this straight.
Ray Allen goes to Miami to continue his professional career because he lost his starting job with the Celtics. A whole lot of fans and his team mates hate on him because he left for the enemy.
Kobe Bryant reportedly has been helping the Celtics biggest star shine in the playoffs, and Celtic fans think this is praiseworthy.
ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooookay.
Okay, and why does it matter? Kobe has retired. The new Lakers are barely recognizable from the ones that beat us, and as far as I'm concerned, the Lakers are as about as a threat to us as a fly to a lion.
If Kobe reached out to you, and told you, "listen I know you've been struggling ever since your sister passed away, do you mind if I help you out?" What are you going to say? Say no? Spit in his face? Say, "to death with you Lakers!!!!!!!!"
Also Isaiah Thomas is a huge fan of Kobe....
I'm pretty sure Ray Allen also brought some of those issues with him... He's never really been that much of a team player... He made a lot of sacrifices, and I will never really hate him 100%, because I do have respect for his dedication and success in basketball, plus the banner that he brought along with KG and PP.
But... He could've literally opted TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE!
Even the Spurs would've sufficed... But oh well, play devils advocate, and join the ranks of a guy who blatantly called people on this forum 'fake,' fans, and 'soft.'
