I thankfully missed this play when it happened live, and refuse to ever watch a replay knowing a guy is about to turn his ankle. I have sprained and broken my ankles too many times to ever want to be reminded of that pain. If the sprain was severe, I just don't see how he could be effective on the court and help his team win. I have no doubt that he may want to try to play, but playing injured and still being effective enough to help your team win don't necessarily go hand in hand.

I watched and cringed. Twice.

It was a bad sprain. Looked like a high ankle sprain.
