considering a majority of season with red claws then forced into playoffs last year ,i consider rozier one of our most improved players
i will always remember a spaghetti sandwich, a nervous speaker and panic'd point guard under pressure with the game going by so fast
He didn't or couldn't see where he was going or what to do if he got there -
Still has his moments

rozier has outstanding rebounding instincts, quick twitch with those long arms
his defense is improving  and we all saw his elite rebounding skills yesterday

This playoff season with being down 2-0 and watching Isaiah and being part of team support
Then seeing green be ready and produce and jaylen being plugged in in 4th quarter crunch time coupled with his out of nowhere appearance in last years playoffs
again philly, lakers and suns haven't had that kind of celtics experience
these celtics kids are being forged like samurai sword-

Rozier going after rebounds yesterday was fierce, beautiful and game changing.

Right. I've said it from the first time I watched him play, he'll end up being a very good pick. I saw a raw player with physical tools, rebounding instincts, a higher BBIQ than it seems, good shooting capacities and defensive willingness. He's got a very high ceiling, in my opinion, a kind of Mo Williams or Jameer Nelson level.

But when you are a rookie or a sophomore in a winning team and you want to show many things in few minutes, you are mistake-prone. There were many plays that he seemed anxious to get a difficult play to showcase his talents, but this has stopped. And it had nothing to do with bad decision taking as a player, but with situation. I'm glad he is starting to show the kind of player he can be, and I'm convinced that this season he's been a deal-breaker in a couple of trades.

Pretty much the difference of rookies playing on a contending team to rookies playing on a lottery team. You need to have small margin of error to crack rotation on a contending team. While rookies on lottery teams are unleashed like a bull in a china shop which would cause bad habits like slacking on D and not hustling back.

If Rozier is playing on a lottery team, his PPG will also increase, but not sure if he will be very efficient doing so.

Rozier gives effort each time he is on the court.
Its tough on a guard heavy team to get playing time. Playing time is what develops experience.
Rozier is a rough diamond-he is insurance that allows Danny to make a big move. He is also
an asset that may be moved to help bring back a substantial player. Good investment all the way around.

Personally I thought he did well all season when called upon, doing it on a big stage shows a lot though.

Don't forget Smart has really stepped it up in the playoffs, his 3 ball is actually going in!

Rozier has been playing phenomenal. I'd imagine Ainge is seeing this production as a showcase to ship Rozier out this off season in a trade.
If we get Fultz I just don't see how there is a spot for Rozier on this team anymore. Ainge will try to sell high based on what he has shown this post season.

I've been saying that I think we should keep our 4 guards. I really like Rozier off the bench. If he gets his handle better he's going to be dangerous. He's a great 3rd guard to bring off the bench. He plays defense and he's not afraid to score. We won't even talk about his rebounding.

if nothing else, the past couple of games seems to have shut down the "we should have taken Portis" rampage that reared its ugly head after the first 2 games.

these celtics kids are being forged like samurai sword-

Samurai swords? stilettos? All we need are some nunchucks, darts, some throwing stars, etc. and we'll be ready to invade a small country.

a samurai sword was made by layering process of different steels and carbon contents that combined with hammering by skilled craftsman to make a stronger blade, a very skilled process and the polishing alone took three weeks-this seemed to apply to rozier, marcus and brown
-the use of stilletto seemed to fit greens frame and singular usage by brad as a quick offensive weapon

roziers ability to rebound is invaluable to celtics-smart avery, rozier all contribute both avery and rozier have that quick twitch but rozier has those long arms which give him a even higher ceiling to his already elite rebounding skills-

he hit a clutch three last night at an important point in game.  that has to give him confidence going forward.

he really has come along. he really didnt o much all year after pretty big hype in training camp. perhaps it took him abit longer to develop.

but he has been really nice coming off the bench.
