Oh certainly. Let alone losing Rondo's contributions, but him being such a ball-dominant PG the whole offense changes for them without him playing, which is a major change for them to deal with.

But I thought that they'd play better regardless. We played too terribly and they played too well in the first two games for both of those things to continue the rest of the series.

Agreed.  Just wanted to mention it because it was the first time I have been purely impressed with Rondo again in a while.

I've always liked Mike Wilbon. He's always seemed to give the Celtics a lot more props than the rest of the media and been fair with us.

This team really goes as the 3pt. shooting goes.

I thought starting Green was a good idea. We lost the boards with Amir there or not, at least we have a new scoring threat on the floor with Green.

Happy to get the win!

Maybe KG needs to become our assistant coach!

I'd like nothing more than KG to be part of our organization moving forward.  He'd do a lot to remind young players what it means to play for the Celtics.  And he'd help to bring toughness back.

Amen to that! TPs for all!

They are running more pnr plays for Horford in this game which open up 3 pointers.

More evidence in that shooting well leads to success.

Out rebounded by a massive margin yet again, however, blowout.

This is a major component. With Horford at the 5, putting Lopez in the PnR is crucial to get easy points and rotation screw-ups by the Bulls. And Horford is especially ideal as the big in the PnR due to his passing and shooting.

Also: best player for the Celtics I thought was Al.  His movement and screening really allowed IT to combat how they were playing him, especially in the second half.  He had some ridiculous plays.  The one assist where he spun off of a pass that should have been a turnover to a no look in the corner was amazing.

Al was a two-way monster.

I thought IT4 was a little hound tonight too kept poking the ball loose for easy transition buckets

finally, a game where they weren't completely cold with the jumpers and they actually ran some offense besides jumpers.

hope their nights of cold shooting are over.

Just saw it for the first time. There should be a fine for that but there won't be.
