Not s good matchup for IT. He can't guard Rondo. Brad needs to realize this and keep Smart on him.

The PG situation doesn't get easier from here should we advance... Wall/Lowry/Irving.

I'm more concerned about a sweep right right now, though.

Exactly. Boston losing both games at home is an embarrassment

Still time to turn this thing around but I'm not holding my breath

Considering that the 3rd quarter has generally been Boston's worst quarter most of the season, I'm not hopeful. More likely scenario is that Boston gets down by like 20 early in the fourth, comes storming back ... but falls just short.

Meanwhile, Bucks are having a good shot at taking a 0-2 lead. If it does, have fun with the rebounds on secound round too... (Considering we reach it)
we wouldnt play them anyway.

Oh wow I'm dumb. It's late here :D

  • The Truth
they are 10 times more physical
they attack every rebound
they move the ball around
we jack up threes
we are ball watching
we jack up threes
--------------------------------------
painful to watch right now....
Horford didn't come up to play
Crowder looks silly on defense, no show on offense
IT, you can see that he is just off, you cant put a blame on him
Bradley is okay i guess
Marcus is our best player
Kelly...spineless

i'm begging for a win right now

So, does anyone have any rational explanation for why JJ isn't playing right now? I think you have to start him next to Horford in the second half.

What adjustments does Brad make?

It's pretty clear we can't keep the Bulls off the offensive boards.  The coaching staff isn't stupid, they knew it would be an issue before the series even started.  They harped on it last game.   And we still couldn't/can't do it.

Tonight is at least partially on Brad.  He needs to make big boy adjustments or we are looking at 0-2 and we are pretty much cooked.  With the exception of Smart, we have no one on our team that has any playoff balls.
Not Brad's fault  Players aren't performing. And their bench has sucked since February.

You can't let a coach off the hook in these situations.  This is NOT a good Chicago team.

Mike

I agree. Brad needs to shuffle it up if players aren't preforming. Give Zeller, Green and young some burn. Those 3 can at least shoot.

No dont do that. Phosita is gonna kill you if you play other guys over non performing players. Gotta stick to 8-9 players according to him.

figured playoff Rondo would make an appearance this series.  had hoped the C's would be over their game 1 shooting funk and tighten their D to have a good second game this series.  so much for having high hopes

I'm sure Brad has some secret formula related to "matchups." He might as well burn that formula and start over.

Brads rotations have left something to be desired. Why olynyk is seeing the floor over jerebko baffles me as olynyk cannot defend and seemingly is not adding much offensively
Jerebko didn't do much in Game 1 and hasn't done much of anything for most of the season. Which is not to excuse Olynyk. In fact I put the major of the blame for the way this team is playing squarely on him.  He's the X factor on this team and looks like he's permanently checked out.

If we lose this, would you try starting Smart to improve defense and make IT come of the bench to have some second unit ?
