That's as bad a half as I've seen.  Bulls played well and C's were awful.  I'm not convinced that the C's can pull it together, but not certain they can't.   IT seems out of it and is being dominated by Rajon.

Bulls are playing IT to penetrate and are content to let the rest of the team clank jumpers up.  Defensively we can't get enough rebounds to get any semblance of a transition game going so there are 0 easy baskets.

So, Rondo just put up 8 points, 7 rebounds, and 9 assists in the first half, and IT was the primary culprit in giving up the points and assists, along with his two offensive rebounds.

He's a magnificent scorer, but do people really want to give this guy a max contract? What do you think the Washington, Toronto, and Cleveland backcourts are going to do to him if he's having this much trouble with Rajon freaking Rondo?

I wonder if Magic would be dumb enough to give up a top-3 pick for IT at the draft.

I guess the upshot is the C's have played absolutely revolting basketball and are still only down 8. If they can raise their level of play to "competent" they should win easily.

I mean, remember March 12 when the Celtics held this same Bulls team to 9 points in the first quarter and won by 20? The Bulls are not this good. The Celtics are playing dumb. Smarten up and blow this team away.

This is playoff Rondo we are talking about. Unlike the Mavs, Bulls is giving him the greenlight to run their offense.

He's a big reason why Rondo is having a great game. Once his man gets past him it puts the rest of the defense behind the 8-ball.

To be fair though, Bradley and Crowder haven't been good either on the perimeter. They need to step up and be dirt dogs.
