 when gerald green became a celtic i went and read as much as i could and watched as much film
after his good phoenix year and his pairing with isaiah at phoenix
isaiah said he was a great shooter/scorer and i saw him be able to get anywhere on the court coupled with that athleticism that is just gifted-
then you heard brad say how he feared  gerald as an opponent
i couldn't wait to see him in transition and scoring points in bunches
-i waited a long long time for the bucks transition dunk
i had often watched him on bench or even in practice with the young ones-
 only recently, i was called out on my so called hype of gerald at beginning of year-i did think he would contribute more
 maybe that would have happened but jaylen came on so fast

isaiah  stated recently, he thinks green will win a playoff game with his ability to put up points
i still like the way gerald moves,his ability to get wherever and elevate
gerald is getting some good press right now, after his outburst and that transition dunk-
he isaiahs guy and that says it all

i still think of gerald not like a dagger but a stiletto in brads hands with only one purpose a quick flick thrust of scoring maybe that will happen in playoffs

His problem has never been physical, it's always been mental. He's simply a very low IQ player who gets lost off-the-ball defensively, gives inconsistency a new meaning, and takes a ton of bad shots. He's a vet minimum/journeyman player for a reason. It's why he'll probably be gone at season's end and he'll be best remembered for his dunk title when it's all said and done.

That is a 100% accurate way to describe his potential impact in the few coming weeks. TP Rollie, you are painting a picture in my head of the Bulls just being unable to stop Gerald on their bench haha.

I expect nothing from him, and that's what we get 95 percent of the time.

If we need him to win a series, we're in big trouble in the playoffs already.

we have seen brad experimenting with this, he can tell when greens got it otherwise he gets pulled and continues to support from sideline
there isn't another option on the team that comes close-he wants it,he creates and he shoots from all angles-that's his roll

I don't think Gerald Green is going to play in the playoffs. I mean the 8 or 9 man rotations is probably something like this:

I think Green comes after Rozier. He has all year.

I like Gerald. Tenacity is something I love in all people. He WAS an NBA player, he lost that. He worked hard, and GOT IT BACK. I am happy he is here, and I hope he does well, and can stick for the vet min. I also hope I am wrong, I hope he becomes a world beater in the playoffs.

IMO Green should get some meaningful minutes, he could be a wild card in this series. He's one of the few players that can go out and actually find his own shot on this team.

When the 3's aren't dropping on the second unit, and when Marcus is clanking, and Kelly is up-faking away, Green could get us some clutch baskets.

The Celtics are known for going cold , other than IT ,  sometimes nobody seems to be able to hit a shot ...which sometimes is what the rest of the team needs to see to pick them up.   See the ball go in.   Green is streaky, but he might jsst give them that boost they need when AB upturns into a brick laying machine .

The C's sometimes need Greens quick scoring to get them going .  I would not count out how he can help in certain situations.
