certainly a beauty to watch him rip the ball away from any type of players

I can watch those highlights all day. He does them EVERY GAME.

Smart is special. He's not yet an offensive powerhouse, but you don't get rid of guys who can do what he does.
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

I got goosebumps reading this.  I remember the KG play specifically that he talks about.  Im so glad to see Marcus share that story.

Awesome and well written Marcus !

KG was always my favorite Celtic and probably player of all time.

I knew when I saw Marcus play as a rookie ....

I had a new favorite to cheer for.   ;)

Gave you a Tommy Point for posting that. Laughed out loud when took the ball from the guy rolling it down the court.

That was a good article with a lot of nice anecdotes from Marcus, but I probably laughed loudest when they tried to censor a swear word but instead of replacing the vowel they just stuck an * in the middle, so it looked like he was saying "oh shirt"  ;D

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

That was a great read.  I love the guy.

This guy is just something else. In 2037 Paul Pierce the old man commentator will reference Marcus Smart when some kid plays incredible defence.

Very well said, and a TP.

I think people are finally starting to realize how special. Marcus is the keeper of all keepers for all the things he does, game in, game out. He's one of those rare guys who just knows how to play the game the way it should be played. Good job by Danny to snag him when he had the chance. His offense will get better over time and, befitting his style, probably just when it's needed the most. My guess is: beginning in a day or two against the Bulls. 8)

Really glad he's a Celtic. I seem him being one for a really long time.

Danny did once before with Tony Allen and I believe he regrets that every day.
