We would have to move on from Kelly, Jonas and Tyler Zeller as we wouldn't want Lonzo's father using the three white guy excuse for any games the Celtics lose next year.

Honestly I wouldn't entirely mind  :P

Unless we aren't signing another major FA, then I might bring back Jerebko or KO.

Not a fan of visionary passing skills?  I guess Magic had those too, and he was a Laker, so I see your point.

I like the kid a lot.

His dad, not so much.

But I won't hold that against the kid.

It's a rookie contract rental, which I'm not down for with a top four pick.  "My boy is coming back home, more crap followed by more crap".

We have a good thing going and don't need Lamar.  Don't see an excellent passer taking us to the next level. Don't want another guard outside of Fultz but if it goes Fultz, Jackson, Tatum I'm taking a hard look at Fox, monk, Isaac

He's an awesome player. But I love Fultz more. I think this guy could definitely be a superstar.

I hope we don't.

Honestly, he just doesn't look that impressive to me.  Nice player sure, and I'm sure he'll have a nice career, but I just don't see "transcendent" in that kid.

I think if you land a 3rd or 4th pick, then you are pretty thrilled to get a guy as talented as Ball.

But if our pick lands top two (which I am hoping it will) then the only guys I see up there who look like true game changes are Fultz and Tatum.

I think guys are sleeping on Tatum in a huge way - most mock drafts have him going 4th, but he is a 19 year old SF with excellent size, good athleticism, good rebounder, good handles, solid passing instincts, excellent defensive potential, and the ability to score in a multitude of ways.  Then on top of that, he has pretty good intangibles too.  For a 19 year old to have all of those talents / skills already in place - his upside is through the roof.

I like Tatum just as much a Fultz tbh.  If we take either of those two guys I'll be thrilled.

If we take Ball at #1 I would be pretty mindboggled...and if we took Ball at #2 I would be dissapointed.  If we fall to #3 or #4 and end up with Ball then I'll be pretty happy with that result.

Personally, I'd either draft Fultz or else I would trade down to #2 and take Tatum, while hopefully picking up an asset or two to go with him.
