Wiggins is not a good player at this point and shouldn't be on this list.

Davis is unattainable at that price.

While it's debatable, Wall and Thompson aren't worth the top pick in this draft plus a very high lottery pick next year.
Wiggins is not, at the moment, on the same level as these other guys but he is a very good player and is still only 21 years old.

That's it. Saying that Wiggins is not a good player is simply wrong, not a matter of opinion.

... and the 2018 #1 for?

Andrew Wiggins?
Anthony Davis?
John Wall?
Klay Thompson?

All we ever hear about is PG13 and Butler but these are all guys that many people haven't talked about. I'm not advocating a trade just asking the question.

I would trade it for Klay Thompson.

Honestly I think Golden State would and should do that trade. They will be in cap hell sooner or later and one of their big 4 has to go. Keeping Curry/Draymond/Durant is the smart play.

Wiggins:
No, he isn't transcended and doesn't do much beyond scoring. His ceiling is Derozan, and I think one or two of the guys in this draft could be better then that .

Davis:
Yes.  No brainer.  Sure the injury history is a worry, but it's Anthony freaki'n Davis - you have to do it.

Wall:
No.  Wall is a sideways step from Thomas, and while I can understand the desire to replace Thomas with Wall (due to Wall's versatility) - no way I would give up a #1 pick to do it.  Plus Washington did really well this year, and Wall had a career year.  I doubt they'd give him up without getting Thomas in return - and he's certainly not worth both Thomas AND a #1 pick.

Thompson:
Probably not.  While we could use an upgrade at the SF spot (and a Thompson /Crowder combo would be very nice) Thompson is the third best player on his team, and I don't consider him to be a transcended player.  He's a clear cut all-star and would put up massive numbers if moved here (without playing behind Durant and Curry) but I'm still not convinced he is transcended.  I think you'd have to think about it, but not sure he'd pull the trigger.

I feel like there are only maybe 5 or 6 guys in the NBA that Danny would trade that pick for.

If we traded it for Klay and then traded Crowder and Bradley for PG13, could we also afford to sign Hayward?  And would centers destroy Horford if we played him at the 5 and PG13 at the 4?

I'd trade it and Crowder for Ben Simmons and a 6ers pick, then sign Hayward in the offseason...would never happen but would fix scoring, rebounding and creative issues
