i noticed the other night jerebko running in transition and thought he was gassed
and now an article came out focusing on his inability to breath after his nose was broken in three places-thanks for that
in the past jerebko was a energy guy that played good defense and moved laterally well, with his effort often was able, using his reach to deflect offensive rebounds
he was active and disruptive to opposing teams, as well as a reliable three point option
he has looked really awkward going to hoop, meaning more so than usual
so the severity of that breakage, the having to wear the mask, the inability to breath and the subconscious protection has inhibited his aggressive defense and willingness to extend himself into crowds for offensive rebounds in my opinion
then the inability to hit threes with the mask that so disrupted his reliable 3 point shooting and got into his head so much so, he has disregarded wearing it
a player coming back from injury is a process, that fans don't understand and can't see once the obvious symptoms are over
-jerebko has looked awkward at the rim in a crowd, his shooting has suffered, his defense, aggressiveness and motor
-now we know why
