LeBron fouled out against Hawks yesterday...

I don't recall the last time LE kING was brutalized in this manor ......LeBron fouls out .......

Is this a direct bullet fired in his direction by the NBA ......his time to wear the crown is ending??

This type of disrespect won't sit right with the King Whiner.

Cavs trying get Bulls out of playoff.
Bulls won all games vs Cavs this season .

But haven't the heat also beat the Cavs? Whiteside represents for of an issue for them than anyone on the Bulls.

I really don't want to play Miami. They maynot win the series but they will give you 6 tough games.

You don't want to be limping into the 2nd round.

Cavs are 0-4 vs. Chicago and 1-2 vs Miami on the year.

So if we get 1 were looking at Miami then maybe Hawks in the second round?

  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
If we win both our series  we get them if we don't we don't. Hopefully The have to go 7 vs Toronto and we can beat the wiz in 5. It keeps getting better. with the cavs losses. We did beat the Cavs good once too. The loss to the cavs last wed made it clear we need to work hard. All is well in Celtic world.

Also should be pointed out: Even if Cavs go 0-2 with Toronto winning the last game, Cleveland still has the season series 3-1 when they tie at 51-31. They will stay the # 2 and see Toronto in the 2nd round with us hosting Washington. The most ideal scenerio for our playoff picture.

Cleveland should lose tonight and might (should ?) lose the last game against Toronto. So as long as we win both of our last games we are guarenteed #1.

Let's get it done.

I think if Boston wins their final 2 games, and Cleveland loses at least ONE of their final 2, Celtics get #1 seed.

Is anyone else scared about the Brooklyn game tonight? We're an 11 point favorite but they're playing very hard and we're playing pretty poorly right now.

Could possibly assure that we won't meet Toronto in the second round of the playoffs. Not that Washington or Hawks are "easier" matchups, but I feel like we match up better against them than Toronto.

Or we could get knocked out of the playoffs by the Hawks two years in a row

I'll take the Hawks every day over the supremely more talented Raptors. The Hawks are a bad matchup for us, but the Raptors are both a bad matchup for us and probably more talented overall, which is not conducive to winning.

No. Unless Chicago loses to both the Magic AND Nets at home or the Pacers lose at Philly or at home versus a more than likely resting Hawks squad, then Chicago won't be in the playoffs. Also, I believe the Wiz are 3-1 versus the Hawks this year, so they should win that series with the Hawks.

I'm worried about the Celts. I'm worried about Deron having a turn back the hands of time type game and willing the Cavs to a win.

Also even if we do get the 1st seed like someone pointed out it'll be a dog fight against the Heat, kind of would rather face the Bulls or Pacers.

Absolutely. Also mentioned it in the BKN season thread: Not only have they been playing well recently but they always tend to play well against us.

Okay, I'm going to get hammered for this one, but we need something in addition to winning the next two games: We need Cleveland to lose tonight. Yes, I know, the big 3 are out and Miami is in a must-win situation. But this season has been, to say the least, weird. I'm not counting on anything.

If we win tonight and Cleveland wins tonight, Toronto won't bother to show up on Wednesday night, since a Toronto win could lead to a second-round match up against Cleveland. Cleveland will beat them and clinch the first seed.

He fouled out earlier this season too.

This is a big opportunity for us with the Cavs missing their best 4 and us playing the worst team in the league (not worst this month though).  If we can pull out a win and Miami does its job, we'll go into the last day controlling our own destiny for homecourt.
