nader is looking a little thinner but says he lives in gym
maybe he has the goal to pick up his speed next year
although he has a high turnover rate ,he is playing as a point forward
he has decent handles right and left and going to to the basket you will be hard pressed when he puts it up lefty  to know he is a righty-great touch with left hand
nader is not a tweener but perfect height for off guard,he hits his threes, can slash and get to hoop but the reason that i think he will do well is his elite elite wingspan of -7-1.5
he is so much better than james young
1) can shoot threes ,his average could be better but he jacks up some shots it is d league
2)ambi dexterous
3)wingspan with decent vertical makes him deceptive going to hoop and on defense
also has high release on threes
he will come in just wanting to be a solid ,versatile player
he has shown consistency all season for claws from ncaa's,portmouth tourney all star, celtics summer league,d league all star ,great d league showcase, one of top 10 in league
stayed close to celtics and played for short money

On the offensive end, he has good things going for him, including size, and length, but you can't have a weak defender in the backcourt with Thomas, the ship would sink.

All these stash players should give the C's some interesting options as soon as this summer.

I think Nader can make the Celtics next year. We've seen plenty of players that are good offensively and poor defensively. I like his game, he can definitely contribute at some point.

I think Nader can be like Danny Green eventually.

Never wrong, only early. I still believe in Conner Henry! :)

If he does, we all owe rollie 10 TP's each for his faith in this guy and diligence in keeping him on our radar screen.

someone queried his defense-he had 2 blocks, 2 steals, 6 rebounds and 23 points-3-6 from 3pt and 7 for 15 to go along with 6-8 from foul line-his length was evident in his blocks and steals
had 6 boards and 4 assists and best of all i turnover
he knows he has to become defensive oriented but maine really doesn't promote that-
nobody is calling him a star just a nba basketball player somewhere-

i dont know, but when i think of nader, i think of dwight powell. a nice, back of the rotation player. good to have on the team, but not a difference maker.

hopefully rollie has it right and he turns out to be a good nba player.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

He's a tall 2-guard with a big wingspan.  That alone should make him at least a decent defender.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Is Nader really a guard? I definitely thought of him more as a SF or even a swing. Whatever he is doing in the gym, he should just keep doing, though. No matter what type of player you are going to be, you need to work hard to be your best.

Highlights from last night:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQLCEm3wJNs

There's nothing about the clips I've seen of him that particular impress me but his numbers are good, his measurements are good. I'm hoping the roster opens up a little for him to see some time on the court next season. If he can be a 3-and-D specialist for the C's next season and beyond, that would be great.
