  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
Rondo is putting the Bulls on his back. We may see him in the first round.

I am happy for him. I hope they pick up his option, too.

What if we end up seeing Playoff Rondo in the TD Garden again?

I am too, it was actually frustrating to see Rondo get benched in favor of MCW...seeing the situation a few months ago with Wade/Butler calling out the team, I felt bad for Rondo

I am glad to see him playing well again!

Rondo and Dwyane Wade was the most awkward fit of high-profile players in recent memory.  D Wade going out put the ball in Rondo's giant hands and they look like a whole new team. Rondo's reemergence has been especially good for Nicola Mirotic who had fallen out of the rotation at points this season.

He's got the Bulls running like clockwork and allows Jimmy Butler to just go off. Happy for Rondo.

I'm glad he's doing well.  I was a bit heartbroken seeing how much he's fallen going through the mess he did with the Mavs and then with the bulls.

With that said, i wish him abysmal failure if we meet in the playoffs

Good for Rondo. It sucked watching him appear to be spiraling down to irrelevance. Getting D-Wade out of there was the best thing that could've happened to him this season.

I am genuinely happy for him. Rondo's crazy play style was one of the reasons I fell back in love with basketball during that big 3 era. When he was on he was a force of nature. Him not being as good the last few years has taken one of the most fun to watch players out of the league.

I want him to be good again, and continue to cement his legacy. As long as it doesn't go through the Celtics.

It's interesting; Butler and Wade have meshed well together by themselves, and Butler and Rondo have meshed well together by themselves, but when you put all three together it hasn't worked so well.

Obviously the issue is neither Wade nor Rondo can really function as a spot up shooter, so when all three are together it hurts spacing.  Compounding the problem is the fact Chicago doesn't really have many good outside shooters in general.

It will be interesting to see what happens if the Bulls do, in fact, manage to make the playoffs, since it seems Wade has made it known he will attempt to play in the playoffs if the Bulls make it.  I'm assuming he won't be 100%, so maybe he and the team would be best served if he takes a reserve role.

Ugh.
I'd actually worry about that. Does anyone remember his first game back here when he played for Dallas? i think he hit like 7 3's or something.  It was nuts. I dont want to see that again against us in the playoffs.

I guess BBall Tim failed to convince everyone that there was no such thing as Playoff Rondo.

I was thinking about him the other day. As far as I can tell, he just up and disappeared once Rondo was gone. It's weird. I can't imagine tying myself to one player so strongly. I'm a fan of the Celtics first and foremost.
