IT's turnover rate explains why we are losing so many games

Admittedly this doesn't really account for all the times he gets badly trapped and can't pass EFFECTIVELY out of the double team. I feel like we need better schemes in place for the whole offensive unit to recognize the trap early and Brad needs to design better secondary action.

When looking at the turnovers, by far the most telling stat is the TOV%, an estimate of TO's committed in 100 possessions.

Turnover Percentage (available since the 1977-78 season in the NBA); the formula is 100 * TOV / (FGA + 0.44 * FTA + TOV).

Raw numbers won't help you much, they rarely do. Isaiah possesses the 10.2 TO%, in correlation with his high usage% that is elite, simply no other way to look at it. Harden is at 19.8%, WBrook 15.8% and the point god CP3 is at 14.2%.

Thanks for that. I was going to put those numbers up but I just thought the raw numbers were easier to digest. TP anyway.

The finer complaint that I have though, is what happens when he gets trapped in the PnR. I'd like to compare that with Harden, Russ, LeBron... this is where our offense seems to sputter badly, but that's only what my eye tells me, could be totally wrong.

Just to add to this, IT's handle is crazy underrated by way. Everyone talks about Kyrie, Wall, CP3 etc.. but full speed/changing speeds? Guy is the best in the league and maybe one of the best ever.

In that Simmons podcast he acknowledged opponents were knocking him harder and ganging up on him more than before .  Trapping him more.   He did know how he is going to deal with the new tactic,  but was clear that it is being used on his game.

I'd like to see some advanced stats on how well IT is doing out of the trap/blitz, just to make sure it's actually a problem
