This is from a little more than a week ago but I assume it's still the case that they're going to try and bring him over to gets some reps against American players and they can get their affiliate coaches some time with him.
I'm sure they'll be able to get a better sense of just how ready (or not) he is in the D-League.
"We may see him in Portland, Maine, at some point this year," Ainge said during his weekly interview with 98.5 The Sports Hub's Toucher and Rich.
That path would allow Yabusele, the 16th overall pick in June's draft, to receive reps with the Celtics D-League affiliate without starting his NBA clock.
